Location, location, location - could go almost anywhere on foot, plus there are 3 metro stations nearby. Great interiors in the rooms. Loved the espresso machine in the morning buffet. Could get a little noisy from the street traffic, but hey, you're in the center. Staff (some) need to work on personal skills |

Great location which requires only a short walk to Gran Via metro station. There is road construction outside and at the ground floor right next to the hotel, a quiet room was provided as per my request at time of booking. Room is clean and comfort. There is only one staff at the reception so need to wait for a short while when asking for some information. |

Nice hotel, but there was no light in the room and in the bathroom. The bed was very uncomfortable. Shame, it could have been a nice experience the lack of light and the very uncomfortable beds |

The room was large and well designed. Nice bathroom. Front desk staff was always pleasant and very helpful. We were disappointed that we were staying during construction, and would love to see the hotel when it is finished. |

Great location for shopping and only 25 minuets walk to Prado. Lovely rooms. helpful & professional staff. Bar food great, if small portions. have stayed in this hotel before and would do again. No bath or full length mirror in room (402). drinks a little expensive, but you expect this in in a hotel of this sort. Breakfast expensive so did not have any, therefore cannot comment on value for €15.00 |

breakfast, location, staff, cosy lounge terrace no advance notice about 6 months closure of spa and indoor swimming pool for works. air conditioning in rooms is common and cannot be individually regulated |

The design of the hotel, its central position and the comfort of the room. The bathroom is very pleasantly designed. The room is not very big. An ashtray was available in the room, although it was supposed to be a non-smoking room. |

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel, I found the staff to be really friendly, the place is spotlessly clean, it also has great decor - modern with just the right touches of the historic building showing through. Also, loved the library, free internet and the spa!!! Very romantic. The bar was very fun too, they had a great dj one of the nights. I thought the bar was overpriced at night time. Our room had a gorgeous balcony over the Gran Via, and while the windows were very well sound proofed, there was still the noise of traffic and late night partiers coming through. But it was worth the small disturbances to have the lovely balcony and view of the city ;) |

Convenient location. Very helpful concierge staff. Excellent service and good food in restaurant. Useful 'extras' in bathroom. Very difficult to adjust the room temperature. |

Everything was top class, location, comfort, facilities, staff. Only discomfort would be smoking allowed in hotel bar, and indeed most of the restaurants/bars are still smoking zones. La situation géographique de l'hôtel est parfaite pour un court séjour madrilain, la transformation de la bâtisse originelle en hôtel contemporain est très réussie. Les chambres sont spacieuses et décorées avec goût, le confort et le soucis du détail sont particulièrement appréciables. En conclusion : une excellente adresse pour un séjour romantique ou professionnel. Il faut simplement noter que l'artère Gran Via est particulièrement bruyante il n'est donc pas envisageable d'ouvrir une fenêtre !!!!!!!!!!! (Ce qui ne m' a absolument pas dérangé) |
