Mycket centralt och bra läge. Förhållandevis bra frukost. Stort rum. Vissa i receptionspersonalen framstod som mindre trevliga, de hälsade inte tillbaka när man hälsade på dem. Den ena sängen var trasig när jag kom (en sängfot satt inte fast; jag påpekade inte det eftersom det fanns en säng till). |

Bra läge, nära till matställen, shopping och alla Madrids sevärdheter. God och trevlig frukostbuffé. Ingen möjlighet att välja trappan istället för hiss vid uppgång till rummet. |

the location of the hotel, the room and the staff,breakfast was okay hated the front of the hotel, smashed door and grafetti on building next door, hated the stained carpet outside the room and really hated the fact you could not reach reception by stairs. If there had been a fire outside my room I do not think i would have got out alive! |

The breakfast. It was good, plentyful and varied. The staff was always very pleasant and helpful. The rooms are big and adequate. The linen is very clean, and they have the best towels I've ever tried! They're so soft! Loved them The worst is the lack of double-glass windows - I was on the 8th floor and could hear everything in the street. Being here on business, my rest was very important. The lack of some hygiene products. There are dispensers, both in the lavatory and in the tub, but only for shower gel. There should be dispensers for shampoo as well. The entrance door is broken, giving the hotel a very unaestetic look. And, on one of the days, some of thecanned fruits we had for breakfast were not very fresh |

Great location, 3 metro lines in 1 minute walking distance, surrounded by theatres, cinemas, stores, restaurants. Big room, warm. Very good buffet breakfast. Nice view from the room at Gran Via. Old hotel, really needs refurbishing immediately, especially the carpets in the rooms. No minibar in the room. Dampness in the bath, smell sometimes, 'unhandy' shower. Small lifts, dirty corridors. Reception at -1 which was very uncomfortable. |

We found hotel rex very central for a city break,so near the metro stations as well...But advise people to request street view as we had room on inside of building looking over extractor system of restaurant below.Not good. |

The location right in the center of Madrid and real close to the theaters cinemas and walking distance from center shoping areas. The breakfast is quite good. The hotel needs refurbishing of the corridors carpet. The insolation to other rooms is not very efficient. |

convenient location to Metro and to museums and to restaurants and shopping The quality of the beds is not acceptable at any level. Someone did not research quality of mattresses. We have stayed in four different rooms. Also, you will not find the new flooring to be a sound long term investment, though much easier to clean than carpets. |

The temperature was very cold in Madrid during that time, when We have been there and the hotel room was also cold. They solved this problem, but 1 nigh the rooms' temperature was about 18C :-(Otherwise the breakfast was good and they was friendly, but only 1 people has spoken in english. |

Perfect location. Comfortable. Clean - the cleaning staff did a nice job, my pajamaswere beautifully folded! There was no comfortable chair to sit on so when I wanted to read or watch TV I had to sit on my bed. This was not comfortable as a projection on the bedstead hit the back of my neck, |
