The Hotel is housed in an 18th century house typical to ‘Granada’ that has been carefully restored in order to preserve many original feature and has been converted into a charming, contemporary centrally located boutique hotel.

There is an interior patio, artisan woodwork in the cafeteria and reading room that all date back to the era it was built in.

Many of the features stand out such as the “costumbrista” painting at the entrance of the hotel, the “still life’s” in reception and the cafeteria, and the prints of Italian origin that surround the central patio.

During the last renovation 2005/2006 several silk screen prints from well-known modern painters were also incorporated in the hotel.

This 3-star hotel is located in the very heart of the city. The building still retains a number of beautiful and well-preserved features from its original construction in the 18th century, including wood-beamed ceilings. The building also has a central courtyard, a typical feature of buildings of this period in Granada.

The hotel has a lounge, a reading and television room and a bar/cafeteria where guests can enjoy a cold buffet breakfast every morning.

The hotel’s multilingual staff can provide advice on where to go and what to see and do in the city. Staff are happy to help guests make reservations or purchase tickets and can also provide city maps, leaflets and free local magazines and leaflets.

Starting from Plaza Nueva is the pedestrian access to the Alhambra, the Carrera del Darro, the Sacromonte and the Barrio of the Albayzin where the Saint Nicholas lookout is situated, Barrio of the Realejo and the Campo del Principe.

From Plaza Isabel La Catolica you can easily reach the Town Hall, the Cathedral and Royal Chapel, and the business and commercial areas of the city.

Breakfast items should have been replenished as needed and were not. Apparently there was a large group in hotel the night we were there and had an early start the next morning. When we came down for breakfast at 9:20AM the hostess was very busy washing dishes and didn't either care or have time to replenish the items...no juics, just a basket of rolls, no pastry, crossaints, fruit and actually anything else. Milk pitcher was empty..etc.	10

However, once you know where it is, it's the best location which is right acorss the Catedral. All the buses stop there including Airport Shuttle. There is one lady at the reception who looks a little bit like Kate Winslet is incredibly kind & helpful. The Flamingo she recommended was wonderful, I really enjoyed it very much. Bathroom is really small and interior seems to be old-fashioned. They did not have multi-national adaptor, tv reception for English channel such as cnn was poor.	7

Follow Centro signs to hotel! Was a little too hot! Not a problem though, I opened the window. Pillow was bad, but I always find pillows in hotels a problem, not worth winging about! May be worth mentioning for driving instructions - just follow Centro signs and you will find hotel sign, can be missed at last stage but fairly easy to find	9.5
