TV'et var ikke i orden (dårlig antenne). Lidt bedre rengøring. Personalet ved morgenbuffet'en var ikke særligt venligt, nærmest lidt småsure. Personalet ved receptionen var meget venligt.

Quiet square in a great location. Nice breakfast and comfortable rooms.

The hotel has a lot of inward facing rooms and some people don't like this but it has the advantage of being quiet.

The room we eventually secured was very pleasant, with large windows leading on to balcony overlooking the square. Good location and breakfast, staff family friendly, building has character..

Irritatingly first sent to a small and very dark room, totally unsuitable, even though a far better one was free. Complained and were moved, but if the hotel is full you might have no choice, so don't go for deals you can't back out of.

The location was very good and central to everything. Great breakfast. Quiet and peaceful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our rooms were lovely and clean. The bathroom was a great size and a good shower. Plasma screen was great. Even the lift to our room was so quick. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Buffet breakfast was great. Staff was very helpful for any inquiries. Their suggestions for Flamenco dinner or restaurants were excellent. Broken blow dryer was replaced quickly. Above all, its location was perfect.

Massive rooms and very quiet despite being in the centre of Madrid (Plazza del Sol). Its in a pedestrianised area so its really qiuet at night. Great air conditioning to keep cool in vey hot Madrid!!

I find hotels who use 2 singles bed and sell them as a king or double size ones are cheap, and hotel Martin did this, and as a tell person I ended paying for a bed that I only used half of it all the time, the hotel was also very stingy with shampoos and bathroom commodities, the made will actually will not leave a shampoo bottle if there is a half used one and so on, this is an other cheap side of this hotel

The location was walking distance to everywhere, it was clean and comfortable, with a bath and the air conditioning was good after walking the city on a hot day.

We didn't need it but apparently there was no wireless internet in the rooms.

Spacious rooms, quiet even though more or less at street level. Extremely well located, no complaints at all. Especially loved the old lift, though modern lift available too.

There is a very elegant seating area near the reception where I enjoyed some food and drink.

My bedroom did not have a window so I felt that 3 nights were enough.

We had a very quiet room, on the inside of the hotel. The disadvantage was that it was very hot and opening a window didn't give fresh cool air. I quess better to ask for a room on the outside because it will still be relatively quiet.
