Hotel Goartín

Der var rent og pænt. Ikke noget prangende hotel, men den unge kvindelige receptionist var yderst hjælpsom med at prøve at spore min frakke, som jeg desværre glemte i taxaen fra lufthavnen. Hun ringede selv adskillige gange og fik dagreceptionisten til at gøre det samme. Desværre fik jeg ikke frakken tilbage, men personalet gjorde alt hvad de kunne for at hjælpe.

The reception was friendly and very helpful, my son speaks good Spanish so communication was no problem, room very clean, pleasant bathroom with good facilities. Terrace was compact but good and we enjoyed our stay.

No kettle, so lack of tea making facilities for the morning, hard to face any day without a cuppa before drinking coffee, no bin in room, but to be honest I knew this when I booked the hotel and had accepted it with the booking.

We chose this hotel based on previous good reviews and it didn't disappoint.It was modern,excellently decorated, clean and the staff were friendly and helpful.Handy bus route no 14 takes you to the city centre and beach - every 12 minutes and only 1.35 Euros.Try the nearby 'La Canasta' for breakfast or afternoon tea

If you are a light sleeper you may wish to choose a room at the back of the hotel as we found traffic noise a problem on the first night.Irene, the receptionist was very obliging, and moved us to room 16 at the rear. Excellent with a bath and shower and terrace!

It was ideally situated for our purpose, which was to visit my son in hospital. Everyone at the hotel was very helpful in calling us taxis and very thoughtful.

On the Saturday night, there were guests in the room near us, maybe upstairs, very noisy and the female was walking around the room with shoes with high heels on. These people have no idea what the shoes on marble floors going backwards and forwards is enough to drive you mad.

The place is so clean and well run. A gem in the centre of town. 5 mins from train and bus stations

Hotel spotless. Very friendly and helpful Receptionist only spoke Spanish but surprisingly was still able to communicate with us.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our hotel room was fresh and very clean. A good option if you are looking for an unexpensive hotel in Malaga.

Although we managed to communicate with the staff in our rusty Spanish, some basic English skills would have been appreciated. Our room was street oriented and as there is a bar right opposite, there was a bit of noise in the room at night. We were very tired though so we didn't mind so much. The hotel is conveniently located rather close to the train station but is a bit further from the centre.

the hotel was within 8 mins walk from the bus station, and about 20 mins walk from the old town, plenty of bars and restaurants close to the hotel area and one directly across the street which opened late. Handy to the Larios Centre Shopping Complex - nice and cool in 32 degrees heat outside.

Some noise from the bar across the street, but with shutters closed - not a problem. Best to book a room at the back of the hotel . Double rooms at the back, singles at the front.

The staff were very helpful and the room was very comfortable.

Location, proximity to the old town. Bright modern rooms with airconditioning, friendly helpful staff. On site undercover car parking.

the hotel was lovely it was clean the decor was upto date and the staff couldn,t have been more helpful really nice place too stay we loved it and would go again .

Staff was friendly and nice, the hotel looked very clean and new. There were no food facilities in the hotel as it is very small, however it was not a problem at all, since just across the road there were several places where you could eat at a very reasonable price. The room had blinders so we could sleep as long as we wanted. What we also liked was that there was free Wi-Fi in the hotel.

It situated rather far from the city center, so if you like to ave a promenade in the downtown in the evening, that might not be the best option. The hotel was also a bit expensive for a 2-star hotel without breakfast.
