This was my 4th visit to Malaga. Previously we stayed in the Malagueta area and what with the attraction of the beaches did limited daytime exploring in the town centre. Staying in this hotel gave us the opportunity to get to know the town centre in depth and discover an excellent tapas bar just metres from the hotel and a good restaurant near Plaza Merced. On arrival, a strong smell, like sewerage, at the hotel entrance entrance which lasted until the next day was off-putting. A replacement hand towel on the second day, which was worn out and had a number of holes did not suggest 4 star quality to say the least. The hotel bar closed at 11 pm, meaning we could not end the evening with a nightcap at the hotel. |

the location was excellent, the rooms were fine, the maid service and cleanliness of the room excellent, and the windows opening onto the Larios pedestrian area and plaza ideal no atmosphere in the bar - really encouraging you to go out more than stay in.... |

The hotel is ideally located for everything in the centre of Malaga. It is clean and the staff are friendly and helpful, although sometimes bar staff are hard to track down. One of the rooms we had was internal with a window to a ugly shaft in the middle of the hotel. Rooms with windows to the street are much better. |

We arrived late and were given a room in the back. The room, altough very clean, was very small and had a terrible smell. The window was facing a well so there was no chance to have some fresh air. In the morning we asked to change room and they give us a front room, very spacious, beautiful and confortable. Breakfast was very good and the position in perfect for visiting Malaga especially if you are not travelling with your car. |

Once you find the hotel it's in the middle of the old town which is very nice. It's very difficult to find if you're not familar with the streets. After an hour and a half of looking for the hotel we had to hire a taxi to take us to the hotel. He drove us into the walking zone, and we then dropped off the luggage before looking for the parking garage. It was alot of work for a one night visit. It would be a great location if you're not driving. |

Junior sveet was worth money. Breakfast was excellent. Situation could nor have been better. We were given wring room first (we arrived by midnight).The elevator and the safe in room did not function properly. |

The hotel is located right at the shopping street and we were pleasantly surprised that the room is sound proof, hence we were not affected by the happenings outside. It is quite a walk to the train station. Also, the hotel's staff can't speak English. The breakfast buffet is average in quality and has very limited varieties. |

the breakfast is well served and its time continiued to noon time, the hotel was so clean and near the monuments. we didnt need the taxi at all. its not clear from outside, only a glass door, so its not obvious that is a hotel. |

Wonderful location for shops and restaurants. We were in a third floor room with the pub/bar of the hotel just above us. The noise overhead was dreadful and not something any hotel guest should have to put up with into the wee hours of the morning. |

The room was large and comfortable. The thirties decor lovely.The breakfast was excellent. The hotel was right in the centre of Malaga but if you came by car it was impossible to find as it was situated in the pedestrian zone. We came by car. The parking was 10 minutes away from the hotel and it cost us 16 euros for one day. The staff was not particularly friendly and did not offer any help with cases etc. |

Unbeatable central location in the heart of Malaga yet, in our room on the 4th floor, the soundproofing kept all street noise out. Breakfast is served until noon - allowing for a lazy lie-in. On arrival at 8pm, we were told that there was a problem with the door locks in several rooms, so we would have to be transferred to the Lola. I refused and, miraculously perhaps, after the receptionist made a phonecall, rooms could suddenly be found. One thing I'd like to see improved is the access.... |
