Sijainti valintani tärkein kriteeri. Ciutat de B. on todella aivan kaupungin keskipisteessä. Siistissä, puhtaassa kylpyhuoneessa kunnon suihku. Lisäpisteitä mutkattomasti järjestetyllä nettiyhteydellä: tietokoneet käytävällä, eikä mitään erityisiä salasanoja tarvita. Juomavesisäiliö niin ikään kätevästi käytävällä, juomapulloja ei tarvitse raahata kaupungilta, varsinkin kun huoneessa ei olisi ollut jääkaappia. Jos Barcelonassa vierailee vain päivän, on tämä hotelli sijainniltaan lyömätön.

Huoneeni oli 1. kerroksessa ja meteli kadulla jatkui aamuun asti. En juurikaan nukkunut, enkä ole varma palaanko tähän hotelliin uudelleen juuri tämän yhden unettoman yön vuoksi. Ciutat on tehty näyttämään design-hotellilta, muttei juuri oikeasti sitä ole. Suunnittelussa on käytetty neuvokkuutta ja hotellin vaatimattomuutta peitelty jotakuinkin uskottavasti, muttei riittävästi hintatasoon nähden. Kattoterassi pienine uima-altaineen hyvä lisä ja reseptionisti valisti, että sinne saa viedä omat juomat, jos tahtoo, mikä ystävällisesti ajateltu, sillä ylhäällä ei ole baaria. Huoneen korttiavain saattaa temppuilla. Yöllä sitä tarvitaan myös hotellin pääoven avaamiseen.

Erinomainen palvelualttius, upea aamiainen, siisteys ja järjestys.

I used the phone to call Kenya,the call lasted about 10 minutes. I was charged over 40 euro. It was a total rip off. When I questioned the astronomical bill I was informed that I should of known that all hotel phone bills were expensive. Because of this I will never stay @ one of your hotels again.

Everything was great. Good location and quiet street. Internet access was convienent and the free water bottles is a great idea. Clean and modern. Staff could speak english.

Small but its all you need. Its Europe so small is normal.

Hotel Staff were extremely kind and helpful, balcony overlooking street, free water and location were excellent. Size of room was adequate relative to European hotel rooms.

Bathroom design was overall lacking. Heat of shower made it like a sauna, towels were small and lacking and toiletry amenities were cheap.

We thoroughly enjoyed our brief staty at Ciutat de Barcelona. After arriving at 9:30 A.M. after an overnight flight from the us, we stopped at the hotel to drop off our luggage before heading out for sightseeing. To our delight our room was ready and we were able to get straight into our room and take a much needed nap. The location was right around the corner from the Picasso Museum which was great. Plus, it gave us a real feel for the Old Town, sipping coffee on our balcony overlooking quaint Princesa Street. Our triple room was also large enough (by European standards) to accommodate our travels with our 16 year old daughter.

The room and bathroom were very clean.

We found the staff not helpful. Also we were were quoted a price when we had booked a third bed, however when cancelled they still charged us as if we had a third bed. The room smelt of sewage everytime you walked in and they drilled in the rooms at around 8am in the morning and people complained but they were unapologetic about it.

The location was fine and a very helpful reception. Free Water in the frige on each floor.

We enjoyed ouyr stay very much. It was in a great location.
