Hesperia Ramblas

Henkilökunta erittäin ystävällistä ja avuliasta. Aamiainen runsas ja monipuolinen, hinnaltaan 12 euroa, joka ehkä hieman hinnakas, mutta kuitenkin hintansa väärti.

Yleiset tilat melko niukat.

Hotellin sijainti oli erittäin hyvä, esim. metroasema aivan vieressä. Hotelli sijaitsee aivan Ramblasin vierellä, pienellä sivukujalla. Ramblasin iltaelämän äänet eivät kuitenkaan yltäneet hotellihuoneisiimme asti. Lähellä sijaitsi pieni leipomokahvila, jossa nautimme aamukahvit ja patongit. Vanha, upea kauppahalli oli kulman takana, josta haimme pikkusyötävää .Huoneet olivat siistit ja miellyttävät. Henkilökunta oli ystävällinen ja palvelualtis.

Ilmastointi oli liiankin kylmällä, emme saaneet sitä mieleiseksemme.

There is the right balance between friendly and efficient staff and too little interested in the guest. This hotel has got it just right.

Fresh coffee instead of a machine would have been nice (breakfast)

nothing - great hotel

Just got back from Barcelona where we stayed at Hesperia Ramblas. After looking for a decent hotel for months we came across with this hotel in booking.com and the reviews were positive so we decided to go for it. As other guests would agree, the location could'nt be better. The hotel is not on La Rambla which avoids the loudness, but on a street from La Rambla. Our room was overlooking a tiny street which opened to La Boqueria, where you can have fresh fruits for breakfast. The rooms are clean, perfectly decorated, a little bit on the small side, but hey.. we were there to see the city, not live in the room! Because the location is so central you can always go back to the hotel for a short break when you're tired :)

The only downside was the fresh air problem. the weather was very good so we did not have to turn the air conditioner on but we woke up at night because there was no fresh air left in the room so we had to open the window to get some.. I realized the windows in the hallway were always open, probably because of this problem. There was also a weird smell in the hallway, but not in the rooms.

I booked a double room and on my arrival was given a room with twin beds, I explained that my expectation was for a double bed and that I would have requested a twin room if I wanted twin beds. I was eventually offered a double bed in a very small room. I declined the offer.

friendly staff, cleanliness overall, modern hotel

no coffee making facilities in room, although meeting room had coffee available until midnight next to reception it wasnt free you had to pay for it. sometimes its the little things that make it better. also there were lots of papers, magazines etc but all in Spanish, I suggest they purchase international products for visitors

The hotel is located next to the market and the Rambla so it was well located. It is new so it is clean and the staff were incredibly helpful.

Though it is the triple room we stayed in , the toilet accessery was not well prepared for 3 pax to stay.
