Silken Ramblas

Sijainti oli erinomainen. kaikki lähellä, mutta silti helppo hengähtää vaikka kattoterassilla. Ihan Ramblasin kupeessa, mutta silti sieltä ei kantautunut melua. Vieressä mm. kohtuuhyvä ruokakauppa ja kauppahalli.

Huoneet jo hieman nukkavieruja, yleiset tilat ja aulat avarat ja tyylikkäät. Seinät huoneiden välissä ohuet, ääniä ja kolinaa kantautui, vieraat kuitnekin selvästi aika rauhallisen puoleisia.

Huoneet sopivan kokoisia, rauhallisia ja siistejä.

Sähkötyöt oli hieman vaiheessa. Yhdestä oleellisesta pistorasiasta ei tullut sähköä ollenkaan.

Good location and nice lobby.

All the noises carried from the streets to the room. Walls were very thin between the rooms. The staff in the reception was not friendly.

Arriving early in the morning and unable to check in until 2 they immediately took the luggage and suggested things for us until that time.

The internet was terrible. Although I accessed my account several times it did not work.

The hotel was in an excellent location - close to shopping, excellent restaurants near by and also close to many attractions in Barcelona.

i liked the bed and pillows as well the location as its in the centre of barcelona city which is lively.

Very good location, near La Ramblas and the Metro.

Room was very dark with very little natural or electric light. Rooms were noisy (walls very thin).

The location is excellent. The staff were helpful at all times. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to be close to all the action at La Rambla without having to endure the associated noise.

The term "Non-smoking room" is something the staff does not appear to understand. I specifically requested a non-smoking room but got a room that smelt strongly of cigarette smoke and even had an ash tray provided - an unusual accoutrement for a non-smoking room. I questioned the lingering odour of smoke and the presence of an ash tray in a "non- smoking room" and was assured it is a non-smoking room. Whatever!!!!!

First time visit to Barcelona and was pleasantly pleased that the hotel was central to everything. The hotel is about 1/2 block from the Las Ramblas mall and shops. The hotel was clean and comfortable

The smell of sewerage in the bathroom. Had to keep the bathroom door closed at all time -- if not, the sewerage smell would over power the bedroom. Other than the smell, the hotel would have been perfect.
