Hotel & Spa Villa Olimpic@ Suites

Siisti ja hieno hotelli. Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä ja aamupala kattava. Sijainti on hyvä ja ranta sekä nähtävyydet ovat kävelymatkan päässä. Lähin Metroasema on vajaan viden minuutin päässä. Kannattaa kokeilla myös hotellin lounasta: salaattipöytä + kolmen ruokalajin ateria + viini = 16€. Käytän samaa hotellia myös ensi kerralla Barcelonassa.

Viikonloppuisin Earit mukaan naapuri diskon takia.

Hotelli vastasi odotuksiamme. Huone oli siisti ja aamiainen oli erinomainen. Lähellä oli kätevästi kahden eri metrolinjan asemat ja raitiovaunupysäkki - metrolla pääsi liikkumään näppärästi eri puolille kaupunkia. Rannalle oli kohtuullinen kävelymatka.

Alue, jossa hotelli on, oli kuitenkin hieman odotettua nuhjuisempi, vaikkakaan ei mitenkään uhkaava tai pelottava. Samassa korttelissa olevasta klubista kuului todella voimakasta musikkiia yöaikaan. Hotellin oma kahvila/baari olisi voinut olla auki myöhempään. Olisi ollut mukavaa nauttia lasillinen hotellin puutarhassa vielä ennen nukkumaanmenoa. Hotellin uima-allasalueella olisi voinut olla hieman enemmän aurinkotuoleja. Nyt (heinäkuu 2009) oli alle kymmenen ja tietenkin kaikki olivat aina varattuja.

The hotel was modern and faultlessly clean. The rooms were of a good size and reasonably equipped.

Whilst the pool and spa facilities are very good it is extremely disappointing that there is still no mention on either the hotel or booking site of the additional charge for their use.(15 Euro for 90 mins). Whilst being within walking distance of much of the city the location is extremely poor, four of our party of seven were robbed in the streets immediately surrounding the hotel. I don't feel the descriptions of the suite rooms we booked were accurate, it was suggested that a suite room for 3 people would have 2 beds and 1 sofa bed, this was the case.

The spa and general service of all staff was fantastic. Rooms are very comfortable.

Noise level on Wednesday night. Music pumped from nearby nightclub until 5.30am. I would definitely recommend it Monday and Tuesday nights. Otherwise, have not stayed in it at weekend.

We liked everything rom walking into reception to leaving........ It was absolutely fantastice

Pleasant staff

In the direct neighbourhood of the hotel was a dancing. In the weekend, from 20 hours till 7 o'clock in the morning (so: during the whole night), there was an enormous noise of it.

Great location for the beach and Redbull race.

The disco was loud but the hotel staff did everything to move us as we had young children. I was told that there would not be a disco on the Sunday night but there was a private party which was very loud. They need to double glaze the windows or shut down the disco. Lucky we got the room at a great price.

During the night there was loud music until early morning and also some noise from the ventilation system.

I liked the room and its comfort, quite a modern look. Breakfast was also nice, the food in general was delicious. Hotel is located near the subway and the beach. The staff is nice and understanding.

The hotel is located in an area that's in construction in a way so it may look deserted at certain periods of time but after a few minutes walking you're quite close to the center of Barcelona and its many architectural beauties.

Hotel was clean and comfortable. Breakfast and location was good. Beach and metro station was near.
