Hotel is very nice and rooms are large with very nice baths. Awesome large overhead rain water head as well as very strong hand held wand. Nice bath products. Good location and lots of activities going on in the hotel. Rather a "party" hotel with a bar / hang out area on lobby floor. Hate the fact that nothing was priced. All sorts of stuff is offered, including massage, breakfast in bed, and many others. However, nothing is priced... You're told to "Check with reception" Well I don't want to call and ask how much breakfast is, but I also don't want to a 30 euro surprise on my bill for a piece of bread and jam. It's ridiculous and a bit pretentious not to post prices. |

The location is perfect and the room was modern. The front desk staff was very helpful with suggestions and directions of places to go. The service was horrible. You had to come down to reception to get extra towels or pillows. Then my shower head broke and there wasnt any maintenance on site after 7pm. I even offered to fix it if they had a pair of pliers available and a replacement unit. They need more help to serve patrons if they are going to market themselves as an upscale/trendy hotel that caters to affluent gays. |

The sun deck on the roof top is fantastic. The hotel supply free water which is kept refrigerated on each floor. The hotel staff was fluent in English. I did not specifically hang the card outside the door requesting the room to be cleaned, assuming that it will be done anyway as part of their daily routine. The room was not cleaned. There are no blankets in the room and you sleep under a single sheet. |

Staff was very responsive. Rooms, hallways, elevator, attic, everything extremely clean. Great for solo travelers, for you have the chance to network and make friends. Great and convenient area, with cafes, specialty shopping, and pretty much everything a short walk away. It's the only place I'd stay in Barcelona, and I hope to go back next year. A small fridge in the room would be great, I stayed for 7 days, and it would have been very convenient to have one in the room. |

Excelent location, friendly staff who can speak english, very clean and comfortable room with a nice balcony overlooking the street. the pool on the roof is more like the size of a tub but the roof top terrace is still very nice. |

The lovely terrace pool, beautiful comfy beds, the great front of house staff and excellent location. Just one little point to mention, the Axel group of hotels is a gay hotel chain. When we booked through your website, I thought it just said 'gay friendly' . They were very hetero friendly and have the t-shirts to prove it! |

Central location and very trendy. Friendly patrons of the hotel bar nice enough to buy me drinks when my girlfriend was not around. It was not clear from the Booking.com description of the hotel that this was a primarily gay hotel. Its only described as being in a "colorful" neighborhood. Not really a problem but was a bit of a surprise. Should have checked the hotel website directly. |

Friendly staff and the design with great amenities.Location of hotel is also in the vicinity of the centre.Free cold bottled water on each floor and extended times for pool and jaccuzzi is perfect after a long day sightseeing. Great value for money. Air conditioning in our room was not as we effective as we had hoped. . |

The hotel is easy to reach from airport with the airport bus. The hotel is situated in the center of Barcelona. The staff was very helpfull staff and the hotel breakfast was excellent. |
