Sijainti oli loistava. Kaikki kaupungin nähtävyydet olivat 5 - 15 min kävelymatkan etäisyydellä. Liikenteen ja kadun melu oli melkoinen. Korvatulpat eivät edes auttaneet riittävästi. |

Keskeinen sijainti oli parasta. Hotellissa sai ikkunat auki, oli tärkeää ilmastoinnin kannalta. Hotelliin sai jättää matkatavarat siksi ajaksi, jolloin olimme muualla maassa. Kokolattiamatosta en pidä yleensäkään. Hissejä oli yksi ja se oli hidas ja välillä rikki. Koneellista ilmastointia ei ole, joten kuumalla ilman ristivetoa huone olisi ollut tukahduttava. |

Asiallinen ja ystävällinen henkilökunta. Hyvä ja riittävä aamiainen.Huoneen siivous päivittäin vaikkakin ei tarve.Liikenne ei häiritsevä vaikka huone kadulle päin. Kaikki OK - eli tultiin ja mentiin |

Hotelli oli todella keskeisellä paikalla. Siitä oli helppo kävellä kaikkiin keskustan nähtävyyksiin ja ostoskaduille. Aamiainen oli yksinkertainen, mutta erittäin hyvä ja sillä selvisi pitkälle iltapäivään. Avara huone oli sisäpihalla, joten liikenteen melua ei kuulunut yhtään. Sängyt olivat mukavia ja niissä nukkui hyvin. Osa henkilökunnasta oli jäykkä ja ilmeetön, mutta palvelu oli kyllä asiallista. Huoneiden seinät olivat ohuet, joten naapurihuoneista ja käytäviltä kuului äänet selvästi. Kadun puolen huoneissa todennäköisesti kuului liikenteen meluakin. Tosin öisin oli varsin hiljaista, joten melu ei haitannut klo 11-07. Internet puuttui, mutta lähellä oli halpoja internetkioskeja. |

unfortunately, nothing. this experience was an insight into what it must have been like to stay in low range hotel in the 1950s. As an historical experiment it could be enlightening. If one prefers a hotel which has emerged out of Franco's Spain, perhaps another hotel is preferable. |

Excellent location - close to the city center, close to many interesting places of the city, and near the railway station Atocha. Asturias is very pleasantly decorated and comfortable. In the room quite noisy, despite the tight buried balcony. |

Excellent location. The photos on the site are very different from the real look. The breakfast is very unvaried. Three mornings absolutely the same. On reception most of staff don't speak english. No free wireless /internet/. |

good city centre location if you don't mind the noise, friendly service, clean room. The hotel is located between 2 noisy streets. not just traffic noise, voices very late at night from people coming out of restaurant on ground floor and waiting for taxis. |

Location - excelent, center, close to tourists attraction, hotel as such - normal for price offered, but need some reconstruction. No ac, but in October staying in shadow side of building it has been normal to sleep. Door had two locks, but window....no comment.... |

Staff friendly, breakfast good, Easy to walk central city locations Location very noisy - second floor street facing rooms difficult to sleep in even with windows and drapes closed - unfortunately no air conditioning. I had been forwarned and asked for upper or inside location - those are saved for group tours |

Very convenient location - a block or so from the metro and a main square (Puerto del Sol). With the exception of the door latch (below) everything in the room functioned. The building is old and in need of repair. The door to our room would not stay closed unless the lock was engaged. |

The location of this hotel is good, and the rooms clean. The staff were okay and we had a good view of the streets. The beds and pillows were like concrete.rooms need a revamp, locks on door very poor,very noisy.Bar never open. |

Right in the heart of Madrid and next to the Metro. Asturias is one of the hotels with an excellent location, Every place in madrid is just a hop skip and Jump away from this hotel.Highly recommended for the travellers who uses a hotel just to sleep at night and explores the city the whole day. |

Hotel situated in an ideal place to visit main tourist attractions and very easy to access from the airport via the metro system. Clean rooms and helpfull staff. Noisy at nightime . Noise from traffic a problem but then you are in central Madrid |

I loved how central the hotel was. Close to the Seville Metro and the beautiful 'must see' sights of Madrid. The staff were friendly and could speak English. Rooms were basic but very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was substantial and the dining area was fresh and clean. The hotel had a 'lost in time' feel to it which was part of its appeal. |
