Park Hotel

Hotellin sijainti on aivan erinomainen El Bornin kaupunginosassa. Metroasema Barceloneta sopivan matkan päässä ja Francan rautatieasema (Renfe, Talco) ihan vieressä. Lisäksi paljon kävelevälle hyvä sijainti nähtävän suhteen.

Ainoa seikka, josta en pitänyt oli huoneemme lämpötila.Heikon ilmastoinnin takia hotellihuone oli huhtikuussakin ajoittain tukalan kuuma.

The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. The buffet breakfast is terrific, and the staff personable and friendly. The location was convenient to everything I needed, especially the Picasso Museum. The room was quiet despite the sidewalk revels, and I had no difficulty getting to sleep at my usual early hour.

Lacked character

The hotel was in a fantastic location, within walking distance of most of the sights & a short metro ride from the rest. It was also easy to get to from the airport as it's directly across from Estacio de Franco, just 5 stops on Renfe train. The staff were always extremely helpful & welcoming & the staff on reception all spoke English well. Even the cleaners always had a smile.

We booked a twin room & upon arrival they gave us a double but this was quickly rectified without any fuss. The rooms are a little small but we didnt spend a great deal of time in them, only to sleep so it wasnt an issue for us.

The room was tiny and with the shutters closed felt like a cell! The bed was hard and uncomfortable. The breakfast was okay but needs to be varied from one day to the next. There was an awful smell around the reception desk. The was not a substantial area for a lounge area. The bed cover had cigarette burns in it....and it was a non smoking room! The bar staff was unfriendly.

Quiet decor, very well maintained. Well thought out facilities. Bar availability.

Small lifts.

We went for a long weekend.I have been in Barcelona alot before and love the Borne area so wanted to stay there. Perfect for dinner,beach closeness and shopping. The hotel has perfect location,the staff was freindly. In regards to the room it was small but OK for the price we paid (80€/night via bookings.com cheaper than via hotel) and for the fact that we spent most of the time outside the hotel.

The room got a bit warm but no issue having window a bit open since our room faced the side street and not the main one(Marques Argentera).This was not a big problem.

Helpful staff, nice breakfast and very good location for exploring the old town. I was attending a conference in Port Olimpic and I could walk there easily.Easily accessible from the airport with train station across the road.

The hotel room was very clean and tastefully decorated.

Breakfast only started at 7am, while I would have preferred 6 for when I had an early departure.

Central location, spacious rooms

Expensive breakfast (as mostly everywhere in Spain), smells in the rooms, warn out furniture and old curtains (not so clean)

Good location and easy to find by car.

Nice hotel overall, everything worked the way an average hotel customer would expect. An extra plus goes to a wide screen TV set mounted on the wall!

There could have been more variety in the breakfast. At least some fruits and vegetables would have been nice.
