Overlooked by the impressive green open space of Montjuïc, the district of Sants-Montjuïc hosts some of the top city landmarks and culture hotspots, charming plazas and narrow, café-lined streets.
Cross over from Ciutat Vella into Poble Sec and take the funicular railway to the top of Montjuïc. After marvelling at the panoramic views of the city, stroll along forest-lined, winding streets until you reach Barcelona’s celebrated Olympic site.
Visit the museum dedicated to the 1992 games, before heading downhill, with a stop-off at the famous Fundació Joan Miro Museum and MNAC, the Catalan National Art gallery.
