A little to the north of Madrid’s historic heart, Chamartín lies around the grand boulevard of Paseo de la Castellana – one of the city´s main business and leisure arteries.
It is the home to the legendary Real Madrid football club, with its world-famous Santiago Bernabéu stadium – open for tours all year round.
But perhaps the most recognisable sight in the area is the twin leaning towers of Puerta de Europa, set either side of the main road.
Other cultural attractions include the Natural History Museum and the National Music Hall.
