Housed in a beautiful building dating back to the beginning of the 20th Century, the hotel is located in the heart of the city, close to the main tourist sights.

Designed by the architect Julio Bravo, it's three facades are beautifully adorned with forged metal and stone plant and floral motifs, which surround the windows and balconies.

Zaragoza’s Tourist Board lists the building as a local attraction.

The Catalonia Zaragoza Plaza is situated in a beautiful building close to the historic heart of the city, just a few steps away from the Plaza and the Basílica del Pilar. Declared as being a place of of interest to tourists by the department of tourism of Zaragoza, the hotel was constructed in 1903 by the architect Brave Julio.
The hotel has conserved the old lift, made of wood, with the original elements in combination with a elegant and modern decoration.

Catalonia Zaragoza Plaza hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the city’s old quarter, not far from the impressive Santa Isabel church on Justicia square. We suggest you continue towards Pilar square to visit Nuestra Señora del Pilar cathedral and basilica, considered one of the most important artistic monuments of Christianity. Next to the basilica are “la Lonja” (marketplace) and San Salvador cathedral –also known as “la Seo”– which boast a wide variety of styles from Romanic to Gothic, Mudejar, Renaissance, Baroque through to Neoclassic.
