Nice place but food lets it down.

good sized rooms and free car parking make up for slightly remote location on the edge of town

My husband and I enjoyed our mini break at the hotel, found the staff very efficient and the facilities, i.e. indoor swimming pool and sauna excellent. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We stayed here on return from a 4 star Tangier hotel. What a difference; if Tangier was 4 star the Reina Cristina was 20 star. We liked the setting in beautiful gardens, the architecture, the luxury fittings, the comfort, the quietness, the personal outside space and the buffet meals. The bar served good cocktails at a very competitive price and the choice of buffet food for the evening meal and breakfast was impressive. We made good use of the outside pool in its relaxing surroundings.

It has a nostalgic old flavour. Not the re-furbished rooms.

Falta de protocol. Sin avisarnos, nos pusieron en una indidual con una cama suplementaria contra el almario , sin cubrecama, toallas etc. para uno. Ninguna disculpa - solo que antiguamente era doble. Poco professionalidad.

A lovely, relaxed atmosphere. We appreciated the corner room with a balcony.

The moroccan style in the garden setting. The romantic music with cello and piano. Seeing signatures of famous peole who had stayed there. The great choice of breakfast.

We felt that the Reception, although excellent in themselves,were very slow at times while staff were busy talking, we had to wait on a few occasions.

food was not up to the standard we exspected, poor value for money would suite a buisness person or some one only staying for a short while had to ask for the room to bee cleaned. we slept on top of the beds so the cleaner mus have thought well this room lokks clean nothing was done only the bin in the bathroom,paper left in ashtray was left in the room.

Breakfast choice very good. Elegance of surroundings - large and comfortable room. Ideal base for visiting Gibraltar/Tangier. Well located for port, train and bus stations.

Air conditioning barely adequate for room size. Fridge in room only worked when keycard in place i.e. when you were present

the hotel was very pretty , staff was more then helpful and gave us a lot of infomation that of good use to us. I would stay there again. Lydia Ackerman
