Very clean, with a helpful staff. Well located close to downtown. Big bathroom, unlike most hotels in Europe. There was not enough staff to bring over an extra pillow at 2300 |

Underground garage, english-speaking staff, Hard to get to by car if you are not familiar with the area since most local streets have one-way traffic, |

The hotel was comfortable, conveniently located, the room was spacious and had free internet. The hotel was a 10 minute walk from the Plaza Nueva. This hotel handles a lot of tour bus traffic nicely. I thought it might be disruptive, but not the case. It was a bit noisy at night. The seal on the double paned windows didn't work. |

Location was good, though getting there is a little hard to navigate. Very friendly and helpful staff. Has on-site parking which is nice too. Getting out of the parking garage is a pain - there is no bell inside the garage, so you have to back inside the actual hotel to get them to open the door. |

Helpfulness of staff, location and cleanliness of room, also that the room had a small refrigerator. Perhaps offering a breakfast included in the rate would be nice. |

Good central location, a pleasant 5 minute walk to the centre. Quiet and comfortable rooms. We had a room overlooking the street but there was minimal noise. On checking-in the staff at reception told us that the hotel was full despite the fact that we had a confirmed booking, and that they would send us to another hotel, 10 mins away. I refused and the rather surly member of staff at reception was clearly annoyed but had no choice but to let us stay as per the booking. |

The Alhamar was a good practical hotel without too many frills and therefore ideal for a one night or short stay. |

Great location on a street with really good Tapas. This is the only reason I'd recommend it. The parking was expensive but we managed to find a great car park closeby for free. The unexpected temporary stretcher bed which made up our 'triple room' was uncomfortable. The two main beds were also hard and uncomfortable, in fact awful for the price and star rating of the hotel! The beds were 2 star standard. The window view into a closed courtyard was a bit depressing, otherwise not a lot to complain about. |

Convenience to city center sights and nice, very easy walk to and from Pl. Santa Ana, Albaicin, and bus stops. Not a problem to us, but hotel is not brand new, but rather is recently renovated. |

The size of the room and bathroom was excellent. Very spacious, especially for a 3-adult triple room. We were extremely pleased with the room, the cleanliness, the location and ease of finding it when driving into the city. The staff was courteous and very helpful as well. They made great dinner recommendations and were all-around friendly and helpful. Such a minor thing, but the temperature in the elevator was very warm and so were the hallways of the floors. The temperature in the rooms were perfect though and that is what is more important. |
