The room was spacious and decorated nicely, The receptionists were unable to smile. They were not friendly which made our stay unpleasant. |

Convenience from Alicante airport although GPS was essential - map provided wass not all that helpful. Drive through town was slow but starightforward. Hotel close to main road, but we had castle and sea views out of the back which was very quiet. Parking available. |

Reasonably close to the airport for travel purposes, free internet access, clean rooms with all the necessities. I was only there overnight, en route to another destination. Stayed there for 4 days last year and was pleased enough to return this year. It's very close to the beach and downtown core for those wanting to experience small city living in Spain. Most staff don't speak English and so making requests or asking questions was frustrating...although they certainly wanted to try to help. Also, I left items there on my first night that couldn't be retrieved because they were in a locked room when I returned after hours the following week. It was just clothing and so not something that needed to be secured. The lack of English (and my lack of Spanish) made communicating about the matter difficult, at best. |

The breakfast was excellent, we had a seaview which was wonderful, the staff were very friendly, the room was a good size and it was easy to get to the beach and the town centre. It was a pity the frosted glass on the balcony prevented a good seaview while sitting on the balcony and in the bedroom. |

Friendly staff, nice and clean and very central. The only thing I did not like was ---- I like tea ,and I think there should be a kettle in the room. Most hotels have a kettle in their rooms. |

Rooms were clean. Close to shopping centre. There was no tourist information such as maps available and I would not recommend the food at the hotel. We had a buffet dinner one evening for €15 per person and although you could eat as much as you like the standard of food was dreadful. All the hot food was sitting in a pool of grease and the cold salads were not fresh. The air conditioning didn't work so we had to keep the balcony doors ajar all night and as our room overlooked a very busy road the noise from the traffic was relentless. |

The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful despite having very little English. The close proximity to the beach was excellent I was disapointed with location, it is about a fifteen minute walk to the city centre, not well lit at night and hilly. Despite the hotel advertising a swimming pool this is only opened between June and September. The food was poor for breakfast and the evening meal overall. No tea/coffee facilities offered in the bedroom. |

Helpful at reception, breakfast had good choice in buffet. Room clean and comfortable. within easy reach of beach and also for walking up to the castle and the main centre of town. Very small fridge in room, no tea or coffee making facilities. No international/English channels available on TV. |

Proximity to beach, buses/tram, shopping and city center. View from room of sea and mountains. Breakfast buffet (hot and cold food). Long public car park outside. Gathering point for locals until 4 am. Loud groups. Solution close your balcony door and put on air conditioning. |

We were able to check in after 12 which was very useful. You can also leave your luggage after checking out until you wish to leave the area. Accessibility by car if you do not know the city. Directions gained from the link on your website were useless. |

I liked the room, but asked for a double bed and recieved twins. The room was very clean and serviced well everyday without inconvience. I was disapointed with location, its not far (about twenty minutes) walk to down down around the castle side street not very easy walking at night and hilly. There was no english speaking channels on the TV and very poor reception. Chairs on (enclosed) balony were cheap plastic. |

There were a couple of issues - the main one being that the hotel had changed its name from the Kris to the Maya but I had not been informed therefore took quite a while locating it. Also the air conditioning did not work in our room and could not change the channel on the tv. Apart from that the hotel was really good and the location was fine. |

This is former kris hotel. Needs renovation. Has all the basics you might need, nothing fancy. The choices for breakfast are on a positive side. Good value for the price. Close to shopping mall, not far from the Postiguet beach. Parking on site. Late check out was kindly granted. The non-smoking room is not guaranteed! Although we clearly stated we need one, they still tried to put us to a smoking room. After 2 attempts I said that my wife has an allergy and they finally gave us a real non- smoking one. However there is a smoking smell all around the hotel and in the ventilation system. Air conditioning doesn't work at all. The sea view is only on one side of the building and starts from 4th floor. WiFi doesn't work in the room. I had to go out to the stairs to check my mails. Won't recommend it for families with kids mainly due to a smoking issue. Othervise good value for the money. |
