Die zentrale Lage

Der Lärm war fast unerträglich

Schlechter Zustand der Zimmer, aber sauber, das Personal ist nicht sehr freundlich und sprechen kaum englisch. Angebote wie die Reinigung der Wäsche gibt es gar nicht. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig aber nur von einer Qualität im unteren Drittel

Trotz kurzem Aufenthalt (4 Tage Juli 2009) stimmte für uns drei (Eltern und 1 erwachsene Tochter) im Hotel Tryp Gran Sol alles. Die Wäsche von allen Personen wurde täglich gewechselt.

sehr zentrale Lage in der Altstadt, überwältigender Blick, öffentliche Garage in der nähe, Suite statt Doppelzimmer, sehr gutes Preisleistungsverhältnis

Einrichtung sollte dringend überholt werden

A tower block hotel with over 26 floors; our rooms were a mini suite with a small bedroom and lounge area with TV; the breakfast; ease of accessing room via lift from the hotel entrance; proximity to promenade and beach; proximity to public transport bus stops and tram; easy access to bus stop for bus to and from Alicante airport; rooms with great views of the castle and the sea. Best hotel I have stayed in for a long time; casement windows that were large that swing open to let air blast you all night if you wished - so no claustrophobia! Beds were comfortable. Good range of quality food in the restaurant (i.e. for evening dinner)

Not many persons frequenting the bar on the ground floor to mix with; proximity to audible noise all night from youngsters frequenting the night club and crepe bar across the street; more double bed rooms (appreciate the need for both from the Hotel's point of view); rooms quite small so couldny move easily around especially the bedroom.

Room & fixtures are a little dated, but are clean. No english tv apart from the news

Very convenient with excellent room facilities, good breakfast and menu and charming staff.

I'd have liked free WiFi in my room.

The view over the sea and the castle was fantastic

Noisy air conditioning. Unreliable lifts sometimes stopped or refused to go to desired floor.

In general the hotel is clean and very central to the bus connections and the beach.

I did not like the fact that on the website it said terrace but in fact it was not a terrace - you had to jump out from the window to get to the little balcony. The furniture of the hotel is quite old and you don't get the feeling you are in a 4-star hotel.

a big minus for the elevator (lift) noise.. it was very noisy during nighttime- also there could have been a bigger bar at reception level..but no big problem. - also the Pay-Tv did not work properly, wrong timeschedules and quite medium (series D) quality of pictures.

Fantastic views from our 17th floor bedroom. Seperate lounge area added different dimension to our stay.

Choice from half board menu was dissapointing. Starters & desserts okay.

Excellent location for beach and city centre. Great views from 19th floor over the esplanada, marina and the sea. Very clean room, comfortable bed.

It is a bit antiquated, which I didn't mind, but some people might. Air conditioner was noisy, but drowned out the noise of the band playing on the esplanada until 11 p.m. For the location and quality, good value for money
