Very good standard of apartment and excellent location but extremely hard to find. The map that was sent by the staff is not adequate even when used with google maps. |

Enjoyed very much how the apartments are restored in an authentic fashion - the location of the apartments backing on to the old city walls is very nice. The location is also so convenient for shops and restaurants. Would recommend a notice in the hall to remind people not to make noise during the night. |

The room was lovely and the garden was beautiful. It was in a lovely spot with city wall at the foot of the garden. It was very peaceful considering it was in the city and was great value for money. We would go and visit again and recomend the hotel to friends and family We liked everything and would only suggest potentially adding a dvd player in the room for if you are having a cosy night in |

Apartment was clean comfortable and well equiped. Balcony and view of the garden and city wall were very pleasant. Location was peaceful, with the nearby public lift to avoid the climb up to the hotel if needed. Problem with one light in the lounge not working which the cleaning staff said because it was unsafe. The safe in the apartment was locked when we arrived, and remained so for our stay of six nights, allthough we reported this to the cleaning staff. We did not see anyone else during our stay so I presume payment has been taken via our credit card. |

The apartment was very charming, rugged stone walls, a modern well equipped kitchen, a location in the historic section. When we arrived, there was no staff except two cleaning women who spoke no English. After a couple of phone calls, they located someone we could speak to about our reservation and we were let in. There also was no one around when we were leaving. It was a little odd. |

Comfortable and spacious room. Bed was very comfortable and the black out curtains ensured a nice lay in. A bit of a trek through the narrow streets to find it but once there, no problem. |

The apartments were spotlessly clean and wonderfully appointed. Ours faced the backyard garden surrounded by old city walls. Helena, the manager, was extremely helpful. This is a unique lodging, a mix of all modern conveniences with old stone and brick. Totally charming. I recommend it without reservation. |

Pleasant quiet setting in the charming old town part of Girona. Plenty of room in the apartment. Quaint old building. Good kitchen and bathroom facilities. The fact that it was not easy to find tucked away in the winding narrow side streets added to its appeal for us, but could put off inexperiemced travellers. There was nothing we disliked but less confident travellers should be aware that it is difficult to find; it it is in the high part of the town, and although there is a free public lift, this closes at 8pm, so a steep climb is involved when returning from your night's festivities. Also there is no reception as such. |

It was a really good surprise to get to the room and see a real appartment right on the girona's old town, well equiped, comfortable, really good value for the price you pay. And Girona is a fantastic city, not only a stop in our way to Barcelona and definetly worth a visit. It's perfect- if you stay in Girona make sure you stay here! |

Excellent location, right in the midst of Girona. It was very atmospheric, has a beautiful garden and was simple but clean with good quality furnishing. Amazing value. I would definitely recommend this apartment and would go again. |

The Hap Dreams apartment is trully a DREAM apartment. The silence and peaceful place, nice beadroom, it's clean and lightful.... We liked garden most. With green green grass and Palma and Mandarine trees. Apartment is located in the old part of the town, so when you step out, you are practicaly in the centre and very close to the sigtseeings. Mabe it was a little bit cold at the night. Mabe we did not know how to use a heating??? Well we survived and altough, it was very nice and we will come back! |

The manageress was really friendly and helpul. There was a minor mix up with the room, however she was very apologetic. She also went the extra mile by taking us to the bus station in her own car when we were running late. What a pleasure to experience management with such great customer care. Due to the building being made of stone you could hear a fair bit of noise from other guests when they were leaving and entering their apartments. The apartments were a little hard to find however we quite enjoyed getting lost in the magical maze of interesting cultural streets. |

The owners and staff were very accomodating!! It is very convenient to the center of Girona. Remember you have a nice climb back up after an evening of dining and wine... It was a very nice place and we would stay at Hap Dreams again. Thank you |

Very good location in city center, exellent interior, very tasty and comfortable. Has absolutely anything to make your stay comfortable. Defenitely would recommend for spring/summer stay as balcony and garden are very nice. Very warm inside. No need to communicate with staff (for us it more of advantage not drawback). Would stay in a future. Would be very good if direction from train/bus station and map were more detailed. |

It was a very pleasant stay, clean and good facilities. There were no staff there to see about paying for our stay as credit card didn't work so we had to leave in the safe. |

Situated on the upper and peaceful side of the city, very near to the old town in the residential area of “Les Pedreres”. |
This hotel is located right in the heart of the attractive city of Girona, just 2 minutes from the train station and in the historical and commercial centre. |
The Hotel Ciutat de Girona is set in the historic and cultural heart of Girona, in Spain’s Catalunya region, surrounded by emblematic buildings and upmarket shops. |
The Hotel is located at the entrance to the city, across from the Josep Trueta Hospital and 500 meters from the Girona- Fontajau Sports Pavilion. |
