Exceptional location, close to Puerta del Sol, Gran Via, Plaza Santa Ana and Chueca district. You can reach any point of downtown Madrid with a delightful 15 minutes walk. Access to multiple subway stations nearby. High up on a fifth floor, the street noise doesn't reach you. Courteous and attentive personnel. Inexpensive and fast in-house laundry service. Well equipped rooms with hairdryer, trousers press, safe deposit box, etc. Poor in-room air conditioning. There seems to be a central system but it was offline, or the in-room control didn't work. Madrid is a HOT city. |

Excellente location with walking distance to Paseo del Prado, Retiro, Puerta del Sol etc. and close to the metro line. Clean rooms and the staff was helpful and correct, even though not (all of them) always smiling bright... |

Great price. Excellent location. You can walk to city center (Puerta del Sol), Plaza Mayor or many of Madrid's great museums. Near Metro stop Servilla. Many good places to eat and drink near by. Good for a short stay. A little noisy, because walls are thin. Rooms are very small. T.V. only gets Spanish stations. |

Top location in city center - 300 m from Puerta del Sol. Clean, free wifi. Close to eating and shopping places. Open 24h. Some noice from hotel personnel - it is on 5th floor of old building - if it bothers you - wear ear taps. |

I got the hotel at a reduced rice and it turned out to be one of the best bargain hotels I've ever had, room was very clean and modern in a nice old building, also was a nice area of madrid. Streets are quite busy outside, but at least there are shutters and it didn't affect me too much. |

The hostal was easy to find and well situated in Madrid close to metro stations and to shops, restaurants and bars Very thin walls therefore all movement of other guests along corridors, using lift etc could be heard and was slightly disturbing during the night |

Love the location. Stayed here loads of times good value Be aware that if you get a bargain rate your room will reflect this.I have stayed here 12 times and always get a nice room, however this time we got the room next to the lift with a dreadful view of the lift shaft out the window, horribly noisy! Asked to be moved and was given another room immediately. Will book direct next time to get a nice room |

Very convenient location and good price. I would have liked to be able to control the heating. It was turn off. There was also an air conditioner that could be used as heater as well, but for the latest purpose it didn't work properly. |

It is near Atocha Station and in one of the best quarters of Madrid. The hotel offered what I expected. The location was good, it was clean, and it offered value for money. |

Optimal Location. Very clean. Nice comfortable room. Free internet. On it's category this hotel deserves a 9. Single rooms are kind of noisy, but on the 4th floor (only doubles), it's very quiet. The only spot: the lack of kindness of the girl at reception. The internet connection is not too fast, buy hey, this is a 2stars. |
