The staff were very friendly, the hotel is central to the town & close to the beach The shower head wouldn't fit correctly in the holder and the slippery bath was dangerous when trying to hold the shower head with one hand. |

The staff in Hotel Avenida was very nice and helpful. The walls are extremely thin and you can hear everything your neighbour does, even if you do not want to. |

The hotel is very close to the beach and the rooms were good size and clean. Reception staff were very helpful. Didnt have any food there so cant comment. There is no parking but reception directed me to the bus car park where it is 3 euros a day. As I say to all hotels who dont have it. Put free wi fi in all the rooms, its easy to do and makes a differance. wi fi in lobby didnt work either. |

Location to shops and walks, good choices at breakfast, staff very professional and helpful. Outside space on main road, noise from hotel opposite at night. No single rooms. |

Our welcome and the family room, which was dividable and had two bathrooms, the breakfast buffet was fresh and varied and the hotel was a very short walk to a lovely beach . The old town with its castle and tiny alleys was also close. There was no pool but we were not expecting one and the pools in nearby hotels were so tiny as to be a bit of a waste. |

The hotel has a friendly atmosphere and the staff are incredibly friendly. Continental Breakfast is good and the location is superb. |

The location of this hotel was great - just a block or so to the beach and shopping and restaurants. Rooms were small, but also inexpensive, so good value. Breakfast was nice, great espresso machine! and the desk staff were very nice and helpful. A bit of road noise - not traffic but street sweepers, etc, but I think that is all over Tossa. Maybe the hotels on the small pedestrian streets are quieter? Not too bad. |

Nice smaller-scale hotel, well located, very friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast. Though not directly on the water, ocean-view rooms have nice views of the castle and beach. Overall a very pleasant experience. Nothing that was not expected from reading the hotel description and prior reviews - small room and bathroom, no pool, breakfast basically the same every day. But, if you accept these things going in, this is a great hotel and a good value. |

Very friendly staff, hotel very clean. The hotel was very close to beach and the view was great. We had to leave very early to catch a flight and a picnic breakfast was left for us at reception. |
