Sehr gute Lage in der Stadt, gute Verkehrsanbindung, großzügige Räumlichkeiten Frühstück separat zu bezahlen und sehr teuer, schlechte Beleuchtung im Zimmer |

sehr gute zentrale Lage mit besten Anbindungen zu parktisch allen wichtigen Bus & U-Bahn-Linien an der Placa Catalunya (nur ein Häuserblock entfernt) - auch von/zum Flughafen mit Aero-Bus; ruhigere Zimmer in oberen Stockwerken und/oder zum Hinterhof zu empfehlen |

Die Lage des Hotels war perfekt, sehr zentral gelegen und einen U-Bahn anschluss direkt vor dem Haus. Sehr freundliches Personal. Wunderschöne Einrichtung. Zu diesem Preis ein absolutes muss. DZ (Euro 130.-/Nacht) Keine möglichkeit etwas zu trinken und eine zu qualmen...Leider:-( |

Ein ehrwürdiges Palasthotel aus dem letzten Jahrhundert. Mit einer grandiosen Freitreppe bei der das Messing golden glänzt. Die Betten waren sehr schmal und extrem wackelig, da auf Rollen. Kamen mir vor wie Campingliegen. |

Die Lage ist super direkt vor dem Haus ist eine Metro-station. Ich würde ein Zimmer in den oberen Stockwerken mit Blick auf die Gran Via empfehlen (aber dopperlverglasten Fenstern) da die Straße doch recht befahren ist. |

Absolutely nothing. A cold and unfriendly hotel with staff that are clearly not interested in making the guest''s stay pleasant. The bed and pillow were rock hard. No kleenex were supplied, miniscule bath soap staff sullen and unhelpful breakfast very expensive per person I would definitely not recommend the Avenida Palace. Greeting unfriendly. The room they gave us had a view of the back buildings of Barcelona. We had to call down for extra towels several times the once we were told that there was no towel service unitl the next morning. |

Location, decor. Arrived from airport at 11am hotel stored baggage until room ready, advised that this would be 3pm which was great. Returned to hotel at 4.15 pm reception staff asked that we wait in site of reception and would call us as there was a computer problem. No call so 30mins later when staff seemed to be gossiping amongst themselves I asked if room was ready told it was, no apology given for wait. |

Centrally placed. It is situated right above the underground line. From time to time one can hear and feel the trains passing beneath you. In addition the smell in wc is present. |

The Lobby and rooms where quite nice and the support staff were great.... But I was left feeling I was paying more for the fancy stairwell (see web pictures) in the lobby that leads to no where, then for my room. Still For the money it was a good value and great location. |

Great location, close to the action but still in a quiet safe neighborhood. Attractive lobby and attentive staff. Quiet, and reserved. In the center of town. Great shopping and sightseeing area. Beds a littel too low and firm but typical of most good european hotels. |

the central location ,i found the staff very helpful and friendly,the hotel rooms are spacious with all mod cons and 6 foot beds the room safe did not work and on reporting this it was still not fixed for the duration of our stay |
