• La Muralla: The city’s medieval wall, almost 2 km long and still in remarkably good condition (the best preserved in Europe).
• The Cathedral: Forming part of the wall and dating back to the 12th century, it took 600 years to build.
• Basílica de San Vicente: Built between the 12th and 14th century, the basilica was supposedly built at the site where Saint Vincent and his sisters were martyred.
• For nature and outdoor enthusiasts, you can also use Avila as a base for visiting the Gredos mountain range.

The staff was very kind. The decor was contemporary and classy. The rooms were spacious. The internet connection was fast. Parking is not available and the street in front of the hotel is busy. |

Hotel provides a simple but nice breakfast for 6.50 Euros. Worth it on days you have time to enjoy te different items. Place was clean, quiet and is in a very good location for walking the city of Avila. Staff members were helpful. This hotel is a good value for your money compared to many others. Not about this hotel but note that many places in Avila are closed on Mondays. Plan your trip accordingly. |

Great location to visit the city from. The room was very clean. Parking was down the street about 3 blocks at 6.25 euros per nite in a covered garage. Breakfast was excellent. We enjoyed everything about the hotel. |

Nice spacious room (photo actually on the web site: 1/24) and a very pleasant dinner. Service was outstanding. The hotel is almost part of the city walls so the location vis-a-vis the historic city is almost perfect: Everything is within 5 minutes walking distance. We were a bit apprehensive at first about possible traffic noise as the room was right on the street, but things really quietened down overnight and it was not a problem. |

Room was well fitted out, clean and comfortable. Great position just by the city walls. No parking, noise from the road. Breakfast was poor with little selection,stewed coffee, tables left uncleared and no staff in sight. |

The hotel is situated close to the historic district and next to the city walls. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Finally, the beds were some of the most comfortable that we slept in during our month in Spain, which is notorious for rock hard beds. Overall, very good value for the money. |

Excellent in all respect. Location outstanding, next to the Avila wall, and extremely well staffed. We got the best room of the house, 202, highly recommended Nothing really. The only little point is that it would have been much better to have in room 202 a twin or queen bed instead of two doubles, only because is much more romantic, but it was not a real problem for us. |

Room was smart, bathroom nicely appointed. No plug for the bath, we had to ask for one. Noise, noise, noise. We had a room overlooking the road and even with the windows shut we were disturbed by the traffic. Also noise from the restaurant moving furniture above and sound of guests footsteps on the laminate flooring in the corridor. Breakfast was poor, stale croissants and processed ham and cheese. |

The hotel was located right on the city walls. Our room was immediately under the restaurant which meant we were disturbed by the noise of moving tables and chairs after midnight when they were clearing up. |

It was absolutely a wonderful visit for us. The young couple who own the hotel are very friendly and accommodating. The decor was amazing. We had stayed at nine other hotels on our trip, and Las Leyendas was defintely the best value without forsaking quality. I told them they should raise their prices, but not until after we checked out! |

The staff were most helpful and friendly. They could not have been more generous with their time. I did learn that it is advisable to request a ¨best¨ room. Each room varies in its view, size, evidence of original stonework. |

El hotel en sí es muy bonito, algunas de las habitaciones parecen como pequeños bungalows. Lo que no me gustó es que de un día para otro no reponían el jabón o gel de baño ni la toalla de mano, aunque si la de baño. |
