A surprisingly very nice hotel in the perfect location. Our room was very nice and our bathroom was very nice too! The included meal with our stay was excellent. They have a place to park and unload your bags, but then finding available parking for our car nearby is a real problem! We were there during the Fiesta of Santa Teresa and had to park about a 1/2 mile away...and I was damn lucky to find that spot! |

Location is very good. Room large and clean. In great need of renovation and upgrading in common areas - great potential. No lights on in common, seating areas so no desire to use them. Holes in ceilings, all giving sad feel to the place. |

The hotel was tired and needs updating. The bathroom was very shabby and smelly. The Restaurant was uninspiring and the waiting staff should have been retired long ago. There was no questions as to weather we enjoyed our meal, even though we speak good Spanish |

Very well situated in the heart of Avila. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast. Easy to find free parking place just outside of the city walls, 5 minutes walk to the hotel. Much better then trying to drive inside. Needs some renovation. |

Excellent breakfast and wonderful city centre location adjacent to the Cathedral. Our room looked out over the street with balcony. Only one set of towels provided. A/C did not work, luckily the night was cool but we did leave the doors open and shutters down. It has a rather shabby feel, could do with some new carpets and general updating. |

A superb location, next to the cathedral and within easy reach of all the historic sights. Lack of sufficient car parking.Furnishings, carpets and decor needs some refurbisment. |

Very central position next to the cathedral. Outside an attractive building. General areas in the hotel were very nice. Mattresses on beds were new. Our bedroom was very poor. It was very outdated. The wallpaper and woodwork were all in a bad state of repair. The carpet in our room was ok, but many areas of carpet were threadbare in the corridors. |

The hotel was beautiful and we were given a huge suite with views of the cathedral. The buffet breakfast was excellent and parking outside was easy. |

A great location in the heart of Avila Breakfast not served until 8 am and was not prepared to put out anything for us for an earlier start. The restaurent was closed for evening meal. There was no bar open in the evening. |

A fantastic setting in a beautiful town. The hotel is great value for money if a little in need of refurbishment. We had a suite for 47 euros with a balcony overlooking the cathedral, The hotel staff were VERY friendly and polite. Good parking facilities and we were able to bring our dog with us. I would highly recommend this hotel. I wish the restaurant had been open on Sunday. I'm sure the food is excellent too. |

The location and view of the Cathedral from our room was fantastic. The lobby and hallway of the hotel is charming and the staff is friendly. Our room had a very strong mildew odor and was very hot the first night. We were moved to a room on the first floor that was in pretty rough shape and in need of renovation. It was not much cooler. Overall, these were not 4 star hotel rooms as indicated in the online rating. |

Location within the old City walls was convenient. Historic atmosphere was enchanting. The plumbing and electrics, within the room, needed maintenance. The plumbing would emit a knocking sound when a water Tap was opened. One electric socked did not function. The electric socket in the Bathroom, directly over the Basin, was loose and protruding from the wall. |

It was conveniently located in the Plaza in front of the Cthedral and close to all the attractions in the walled city Not about the hotel but about parking inside the walled city - don't do it unless you want to get a fine. There are plenty of places outside the walls |

Excellently situated in heart of city with wonderful views onto cathedral square. Very pleasant welcome and delighted with bottle of cava offered on the "romantic package". The hotel facilities could do with a makeover to bring it into the 21st century (without, however, losing its palacio charm which it certainly has in the reception areas). Breakfast could be improved. |

The hotel wa in an excellent location and was of a better standard then I expected. I requested a triple room with an extra bed, and had confirmation of this. The information said that the number of extra beds in a room was one and that baby's staying under 2 in cots were free. |

in the center of the old Avila the parking fee is a little bit high, actually it is easy to find a free parking plot just outside the old town |

Located in the plain historic centre of Àvila beside the cathedral. This hotel has a magnificent covered courtyard and spacious rooms with elegant decor. Enjoy dining in the fine restaurant. |
The lovely El Rastro Hotel has an ideal location within the city’s ancient walls. It is close to the Rastro Arch and the birth house of Santa Teresa with its museum. |
Situated in the heart of Ávila, the hotel lies in the medieval centre, with its enchanting narrow streets, cathedral and the Plaza de Santa Teresa. |
This hotel is just 5 minutes from Ávila’s old town, a short walk from the train and bus stations. |
