OK value for money

Good central spot in the city, right of ramblas, but not a good street.

Friendliness of the staff

Cheap, the staff was very competent. It was not the best location in Barcelona.

the front desk staff was very helpful and polite. it's a budget hotel that if you want to safe money it will work.

all the rooms are single beds.

The hotel was very clean and just fine for a place to lay our heads. There is quite a bit of action in the streets right around the hotel, that may be an undesirable environment for some, though I'll say, never felt unsafe.

Clean rooms and a good lift working

No explanation given causing confusion of the way to turn on the lights in the room. No staff seen other than a receptionist who was stuck to her desk.The "bar " was non existent and there was no bar stafff all we got waS vending machines with lukeworm refreshments at high prices.not what was expected after a day of travelling no music either

The central location made it ideal for seeing all the sights.Easy access to Metro and walkable to beach,Rambla and Gothic areas.

Unfortunatly square outside hotel is daytime location for prostitutes.Despite efforts by police is horrible to walk gauntlet of drug dealers and pickpockets.I must emphasise is no fault of hotels,but i would strongly recommend that women and families do NOT use this hotel.

The price, the room availability (I booked at the last minute), and that there was a phone in the room. Police was present (that's a good thing if you consider the dodgy neighborhood). Proximity to the center of the city, 3 minutes walk from las Ramblas.

The gutter smelled all night long, hard to sleep with such smell. In the morning it was fine though, perhaps only temporary. No easy access to fresh air. Dodgy neighborhood with prostitutes at all times.

The house is very central, and although in a very dingy area, the hotel isn't a brothel (it could easily turn into one).

The bed was very soft, squeaky. The room was small, the shower working only after asking for assistance. No Internet connection whatsoever available.

Noisy street, couldn't sleep. Hookers at the side street of hotel.
