The position of the hotel. The staff was very friendly. Very smal and poor rooms. The "heating" system worked only for max 24 degrease. Very tough bed. |

it is in a central location with proximity to local bars restaurants and places of interest, and is clean , and was useful to have a safety deposit box in the room free of extra charge . There were also computers available in the hotel with internet access , also free of charge. We did have a window to the street . If we'd had one of the window-less rooms it would have been a very oppressive room .Nice bathroom with good shower there were three narrow beds on castors which moved if you sit up in bed, which was annoying. I would have preferred a double bed (one that did not move! ) |

extraordinary location! only a few blocks away from El Born and metro station Jaume I on the one hand, and Las Ramblas and Placa Catalunya on the other hand. in the middle of the best shopping area, walking distance from port and beaches |

We really liked the balcony on our room, which by the way not all rooms have. The hotel felt fresh and modern and gave a good and comfortable feeling. The pool/spa rooftop was really a key differentiator for this hotel as you can relax in the sun, before and after sight-seeing. The beds were a bit hard and it smelled a bit through the bathroom. |

The location of the hotel was great. We especially enjoyed the jacuzzi on the roof after a long day of touring the city. At the time, there was construction directly next door but we don't blame our hotel for that. It was just poor timing. |

I liked how central it was and the decor is interesting tho' rooms are small. Bathrooms are very nice. Also, it was surprisingly quiet. We had booked a 2 bed room but were given a room with one double bed which we stayed in first night because we were late arriving. Hotel gave us a 2 bed room next day - the girl who dealt with us was nice (night porter is rude, tho). The room smelt of smoke - as we don't smoke this was not great but we did not want to complain .... |

The situation, just in the middle of Barcelona. The room was near a very noisy little street. We slept with earplugs. |

The staff were friendly, the room was clean and the hotel was in a good position. The only window in the room looked into the centre of the hotel and so the room had no daylight |

This place is great if you're planning to sleep and shower and otherwise get out to see the sights. I went with a few friends and we all agreed it was perfectly fine and good value for money and close to the major sights. There were no windows in the rooms and sometimes you could hear people talking in the corridors, quite clearly, but neither of these were really an issue if you were just using it as a base to sleep. |

The hotel was well situated in an interesting part of town and within walking distance from the conference. The rooms were without windows, the breakfast was not included in the price. Two major setbacks. International TV - other than trash - was only available the first night. I was cut off from the news for the rest of the time! |

It was a nice location and the hotel had a really nice luxurious atmosphere. At the moment of the check-in me and my partner realised we had problems with our bank. We couldn't pay for the hotel because of this and we were trying to solve the issue. The staff was least helpful, and their attitude was as if we just didn't have money to pay for the room. Throughout the stay, the staff was completely absent, no "hello" when you come into the reception, not even a "was everything ok with your stay?" at the check out. The room also had a problem as the shower was leaking water into the room, and the bed was not at all comfortable. This all made it look more like a an expensive design hostal rather than design-hotel. Friendliness is not known here! |

Location was excellent and good value for money. There was limited staff, eg on the bar and sometimes on reception. When they were available they were rude. There was no natural light in the rooms. We only used the hotel for a base so, for location and price alone I would go back. |

The location is very good. Very much liked the rooftop terrace with a small swimming pool and a jacuzzi. There were no towels in my room when I checked in - had to call and ask to bring some. At checking out, the receptionist was a bit unattentive, I had to wait several minutes before she finished her personal phone call. |

Enjoyed our 4 day stay and will return as it is an ideal location for walking to centre of Las Ramblas and Marina. Lots to explore in surrounding area of Barri Gothic. Staff very friendly and helpful. My only dislike would be no facilites in room to make tea in the morning. |

The location (just off the Rambla). Although of an evening the area turned a bit unsavoury with many prostitutes in operation who also doubled up as well-rehearsed pick-pockets (making it impossible to take your hands out of your pockets when walking), and men trying to sell cans of lager (which they keep locked away in a drainage manhole on the Rambla (very healthy!)). Upon arrival we were informed the two rooms we had booked were no longer available and we would have to share a room. The rooms were small with no windows and the air-con inadequate. The second day we were allocated seperate rooms which were very damp and dark. |
