Barcelo Hotel Atenea Mar

Les vistes, el petit spa i la mida de l'habitació. En general considero que és un molt bon hotel.

L'esmorzar bufet és una mica just per a un hotel de 4 estrelles.

la habitació era molt confortable i estava tot molt net i cuidat, les vistes al mar.

Poder gaudir del gimnàs, la sauna i el bany turc.

El minibar és" Super" car, per una aigua petita vaig pagar 2,98 €. Quan vaig arribar l'habitació era molt freda. A l'hivern el pàrking podria ser gratuit. I des de recepció s'hauria de controlar quan un client és habitual, com és el meu cas.

Clean rooms and large. Huge bathrooms. Walking distance to Metro. Good area by beach. Felt safe at all times.

The twin beds that were pushed together but yet weren't together because of the frame. But it worked out great for our kids.

The view from our room was breathtaking. Room service was great.

the distance from the metros was a little inconviniant and the internet facility in the main lounge was inefficient.

Close to the beach and the bus servise was good

We thought that the hotel was more suited and designed to business requirements than family holidays, We had to go through the UG car park to get to the gym facilities, the twin room we had was small and very basic for a 4 star hotel we would rate it as a good 3 star hotel.

Facilities, clean hotel with friendly personnel. It is near the beach, and has a nice view.

Although I've stayed 2nd time in this hotel and every time I've asked for sea view, I've never was able to get one. Even I've reserved the room few months in advance. They don't seem to respect clients wishes. They should also repair the wirless internet to be operational in rooms.

I stay at this hotel becausde it is quiet, near the beach but not too far from the city centre and not too near the convention centre

The male hotel staff knows service, the hotel was five minutes away from the beach which suited me perfectly, 15 minutes from the two closest subway stations, excellent cleaning of the room, the gym was of OK size compared to other hotel gyms, and breakfast was nice.

The female hotel staff should learn what service and a good tone is.

Everything is brand new and the hotel is in a quiet area. It is a very short walk from the beach; you can at any moment decide to have a swim, or jog or walk along the very long promenade leading to the city centre. With a few minute walk you can also reach the Poblenou Rambla, where you find less tourists, more "real" life and several shops, bars and restaurants. The fitness centre as well (including hammam, sauna and jacuzzi) seems to be completely new. Staff are polite and professional. Depending how fast you walk, the two closest metro stations (Selva de Mar and Poblenou) are only 7 to 10 minutes away.

The hotel is pefectly alright. Then it depends on the kind of tourist you are and what you want to do. One must be aware that it is a few kilometres from the city centre because Barcelona is quite a big city.
