Very nice, except for the lack of parking, which becomes very costy if you come by car in Barcelona (25 euro / night and 3 euro / hour during the daytime). Anyway, I do not recommend to anyone staying at Catalunya to come by car. Apart from parking being very costy, you are within walking distance from all major touristic objectives. The breakfast was quite poor. |

The hotel staff were fantastic, very friendly & helpful when asked on where to go for food and drink etc. Rooms were modern & recently refurbished, free wi-fi in your room is a major bonus that all hotels could learn from, en-suite & room itself was spotlessly clean & the hotel is very quiet so easy to get a good nights sleep. Breakfast was a basic continental affair, but at this price it's more than enough to get you going. The location is second to none, 2 mins to Las Ramblas & the square for the tour buses. Every type of food and drink place is closeby too. Visit Paddy O'Flahertys for great service, food & the cheapest beer I could find in town - 1.50 Euros! Go down Las Ramblas until you come to Burger King, turn left into the square. |

The hotel staff spoke good english as we didn't speak Catalan or Spanish and were very helpful. It was very central yet very quiet as situated in a narrow street behind the square. |

The location couldnt be better...easy walking distance to many sights as well as tourist information, tourist and airport buses and, for those who enjoy it, shopping. I appreciated free use of internet. Room was basic but satisfactory. Breakfast was unexceptional but included in price. Some nights it was noisy, but mainly innner city noise from the street beneath and to be expected. |

It was very centrally located, comfy beds Air con did not work very well the first night and it was very hot, but this was rectified the next day. Also for 100 euros per night we expected more than 1 teabag |

Was convenient to Las Ramblas, buses and metro. Being a single traveler without a car it was nice to be within walking distance of everything. Room was extremely small. Shower was very small and did not drain well. I would lather up, turn shower off. Rinse off, then wash hair & turn off. Rinse hair quickly before water would spill out flooding bathroom. I notified front desk on 1st day, but was never taken care of. |
