Citadines Apart'hotel Barcelona Ramblas

The hotel staff was professional and helpful. When I came down with a rash on my left arm and wrongly suspected bed bug bites, the Residence Manager immediately summoned a doctor. He examined me and told me that what I had was the shingles and not bed bug bites. My own doctor back home confirmed this a few days later. The hotel still put me into another room and paid for the doctor's visit as well as the next morning's breakfast. I also liked the proximity of the hotel to the Placa Catalunya which provides easy access to the Metro as well as the Express Bus service to and from the airport.

What I did not like about the hotel was the condition of the carpet in my room. It was heavily stained and did not belong in a $150.00 per night hotel room. Also the combination sofa/bed was uncomfortable and did not match the price (603 euros) I had paid in advance for a six-night stay. Breakfast is available but not included in the Overall, this hotel is over-priced.

Location was excellent. The staff was very helpful. We got a room facing the backyard and there wasn`t any noise from the streets around at all.

Carpet on the floor is no good for allergic people and the fact that you had to pay for extra towels. The ad didn`t say anything about this and that the cleaning of the room was only once a week.

Location was excellent. Quiet one bed apt. at back of building. Facility to make tea and have refrigerator. Very good airconditioning in the unit we had. Pleasant stay overall.

The staff are polite and helpfull. Close to shopping and tourists everywhere. The unit has limited facilities to cook and make coffe etc.

We stayed there for 6 nights and had to pay additional costs for any fresh towels.

not enough towels for 1 week, the tub needs to be renewed, the telephone did not work despite our request to change, radio/cd set was changed though, wifi recommended

The bed was terrible! Looks like had a whole it. There is no clean up room any day. A three stars hotels suppose to have it. When I asked a clean towel the recepcionist said me that would be charged. I asked to talk with someone could resolve the deal and he said me "there is no one in the hotel I'm just an employee and I cannot resolve your problem I just follow the rules". It's a trash hotel!!!

Excellent location right in the heart of La Rambla area. Good clean hotel.

Aircon did not work, fortunately it was cold outside and the window opened so we were able to cool the room by keeping the window open but they need to fix this before summer.

Friendly staff, great location near market and Ramblas and convenient to airport bus. Room was spacious and had good air conditioning system. Internet terminal for guest use is good, though it was usually occupied and it would be good to have more than one.

Breakfast too expensive, and there is an extra charge for pets.

Central location on Las Ramblas. We had a quiet room. All the facilities worked fine (but no Kettle).

No Kettle - selected rooms can have a kettle but apparently other rooms have a problem with electrical fuses blowing. No bar! The sofa bed is very very uncomfortable - and creaks whenever you move. The room looked very worn and tired could do with a facelift. Corridor smell and dirty looking carpet. Room cleaning service once a week. All in all we expected a better standard for the price.
