10 metres from the metro (universitat), 2 blocks away from placa catalunya, quiet, clean, helpful staff... a really nice place to stay in barcelona more facilities, wireless internet connection, more room to the reception, more informational flyers |

This was a perfect location for exploring the city. The area felt very safe and the airport bus dropped us off within 50 feet of the hotel. The Universitat metro station was 10 feet outside the door. |

My friend and I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights in June 2009 and had a great time! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and could speak good English. The room was quite spacious, very clean and done every day. Safe (no extra charge), desk, chair and a little sofa, fridge, TV, coffee maker (we never used), bathroom with bath & shower, WC, sink, bidet, hairdryer & complimentary toiletries. We were on the fourth floor & had no problem with noise from within the hotel or outside. The airconditioning was very useful (average day temperature in Barcelona in June is 21C). Everywhere in hotel extremely clean & well cared for. Bar d'Or is a great place to eat – the food is fab. The bar is just across the street, they are open until late. The hotel location was brilliant, right in the city centre, less than a 5 minute walk to Plaça de Catalunya and La Rambla. The metro station (“Universitat”) is right outside the hotel. If you want to visit the Olympic Stadium or the Magic Fountain of Montjuïc take the L1 Red Line (direction: Flexia Llarga) to “Espanya” (it’s only 3 stops / 10 minutes). Getting to the Nord bus station is also very easy, take the L1 Red Line (direction: Fondo) and get off at “Arc de Triomf”. If you plan to take a bus tour (Barcelona Hop on Hop off Bus Turistic from Placa Catalunya) don’t forget to ask the hotel staff for discount vouchers! Would return again! |

Location is very good.Quite and clean. Workers in the hotel are eager to help you and very gentil. The hot water running in the shover was very low in volume; it limits the shovering comfort. |

I thought the staff was extremely helpful and the rooms very comfortable and clean. The hotel was located in central Barcelona with easy access to the metro, shops, cafes, Las Ramblas and Placa Catalunya. |

For the rest the hotel is ok, nice location and nice rooms for the price you pay, of course if you're lucky to get the right one... I had booked a double room since I was traveling with a friend but at the beginning they gave us a single room with a bed 1 and 1/2. Their first answer was that they had finished double rooms but after I insisted with the reception lady at the end I had the normal double room I had reserved. |

Excelente ubicación. Personal muy amable. Las habitaciones son amplias, modernas y dan al exterior. La habitación tenía algunos desperfectos, además sugeriría una mejor iluminación de la habitación y poner unos colchones más cómodos. |

Su ubicación El confort de la habitación: la tv no disponía de mando a distancia, era vieja (15 años de antigüedad minimo) y estaba colocada a la derecha de las camas, y no frente a ellas; además se veia mal; en recepción no nos dieron ninguna solución, ni siquiera mejoraron la imagen, y mandos de repuesto no tenian!!!!! En segundo lugar, las ventanas de la habitación no se podian abrir,(solo la del baño) con lo cual el calor (por efectos del sol a la mañana era insoportable); si se trataba de una medida de seguridad, podrian haber puesto rejas!!!!! Creo que son dos aspectos facilmente mejorables para un hotel de € 88 la noche. Por otro lado, no obtuve una factura con mis datos, solo a nombre de booking, y es la primera vez que me pasa!!! |

Gracias al personal tan amable, hemos tenido una estadía muy confortante en Barcelona. La habitación era amplia y la sala de baño completa. Aparte de estar en el centro de la ciudad y frente a una plaza muy frecuentada y llena de tráfico, no hubo mucho ruído en la habitación. La ubicación es excelente para el uso de tren-bus-metro. El espacio para uso del desayuno es pequeño en comparación a la cantidad de personas que bajan por la mañana a usarlo, es para el hotel un punto imprescindible de mejoría. |

excellente situation, hôtel qui donne sur la place de l'université. nous avons pris le petit déjeuner comme d'autres clients de l'hôtel sur cette même place, bien moins cher. il y a un parking pour les clients avec un tarif privilégié, mais nous ne le savions pas. |
