Coronado Hotel is great! The staff was very nice. Our trip to barcelona bus was recovered on strike, we at the outward with the Barcelona Bus had heard nothing. By coincidence we heard at the tourist office. The friendly gentleman behind the counter has picked everything for a cheap ride back, because a taxi to Girona airport is not payable. The hotel is not expensive, so I say, Do coronado! |

Friendly staff, buffet breakast, close to the tube. Very worn out double mattress,it was impossible 4 two people to sleep on it.I slept just on the edge of it!!!!!!Luckily, they put an extra single bed,so my boyfriend could sleep on the single one. |

The staff was very polite and helpfull. The room cleaned every day. The breakfast very good. The location convenient. We didn't like that the breakfast room was in the reception area, but I don't think that's something that can be fixed. |

The room has its own bathroom. The towels were changed every day. The breakfast is good. It is just a quiet zone. It would be better if you could find maps or valid and up to date tourism information at the hotel. |

Good central location, good price, nice breakfast & extremely friendly staff. Rooms were basic but importantly clean & adequate. A perfect base for exploring Barcelona! Other reviewers have mentioned its location as being in/near the red light district but during our stay in the daytime & at night we never saw any sign of the ladies of the night! |

It is in a reasonable walking distance from La Rambla (15-20 min), and close to the beginning of Mount Juic (5 min), also close to a subway station (5 min). Breakfast was good, simple, but fresh and tasty. Bathroom was very clean and nice. The walls are thin, so you can noises from the other rooms. |

I liked everything about the hotel. The web-site was very accurate and truthful unlike some I have read about other hotels.I would definately stay there again on my next trip to Barcelona and would highly recommend it to others. |

Good quality budget hotel, within an easy walk of the city centre. Good breakfast included. Helpful staff. Stayed four nights, as part of our 33 night tour of Europe. Parking could be a problem but we dropped lucky and got a free parking space, within 50 yards of the hotel. Otherwise, the nearest parking would have cost 15 euros per day. |

Advice on the city was great, rooms were clean and the breakfast was perfect. No complaints. The walk to La Ramblas was beautifully seedy. That's what big cities are like. The television had no English speaking channels. I know the idea is not to spend any time in the room but it would have been nice to catch up on the news from back home whilst getting ready to go out etc |

great location, close to the city centre and just near the metro station. hotel is nice for such a good price, clean, bathroom was ok. good brekfast. I liked it, I would choose it again! triple room was small, just beds! too small closet (it was too small even for one person, not to mention three). |

Well cleaned rooms, staff speaking at least English, Italian and Spanish, adequate breakfast, location under 1km from La Rambla, good air conditioning (at least for our room), inexpensive. Our bath tub drain didn't work first, requiring a service request from the staff. Was working well after this though. The street the hotel is at is a little restless by night - daytime however was OK. |

Very nice reception, clean and roomy rooms. Friendly greeting and breakfast was also sufficient. One in our party had her purse stolen on the tube and the receptionist was very helpful in this regard. Hotel was fine, but a bit of direction would have been useful to find it - you have to take the underground to Paral.lel and then go down the smaller part of the road not the longer part which leads into the Ramblas. |

The staff were very friendly and helpful and I was made to feel welcome. Also, it was located about 3 mins walk to the nearest tube station. The neighbourhood was a bit grotty, but this is not the hotel's fault. |
