good value for money, well reachable by metro - walking from the train station was not such a good idea after all. The Sagrada on the other hand was a nice walk from the hotel. They were also well equipped to store our luggage for the afternoon after we'd checked out. immediate surroundings aren't very attractive |

The hotel was fairly new. Therefore, it was clean and modern. It was also only about a 5 minute walk to the metro. The rooms were nice and it was air conditioned. The breakfast was very average. No eggs, limited meat choices. The hotel neighborhood was not very nice. Looked like sort of a local business district...several vacant lots...kind of run down. |

Convinient hotel according to the price. Good value for money, good 3 stars hotel, excellent breakfast, acceptable comfort in rooms since the hotel opened last year. It's a shame there is no fridge in the room. Interior rooms (especially at the end of the corridor---room 312--- ) have a big noise due to air conditioner engines, they work 24 hours. It would be appreciated wifi internet included in the price. |

The quietness of the room, the help yourself continental breakfast.Until we got there ,didn't realise how close to the beach it was.Metro 5 minutes walk.Should have booked a longer stay!!! I think they miss a trick by not offering food in the evening in the restaurant, although you can order food in your room. |

The greater value of this hotel is the proximity to the beach and the Rambla of Poblenou. The fact that the metro station is just two streets far is also a good plus. We particularly didn't like the lady receptionist from the night shift. Besides not being very helpful everytime we asked her for help, she was also in a bad mood. Despite this fact, all the other employees were very professional. |

Very friendly staff, close walk to the beach. Large supermarket around the corner. Close to the subway and just a few minutes away from the center by public transports. Very quite hotel and air con which is a must in the summer. Great breakfast buffet for such a low budget. Free large safe available. Lack of a fridge in the room. Not much wardrobe / shelf space. |

10 minute walk to the beach. 5 minute walk to the metro which gives you access to all the major sights. Excellent front of house staff who answered all our queries and even suggested restaurants to eat. As we arrived early our room wasnt ready which we expected but the hotel kept our passports and valuables in thier safe so that we could take the children to the beach and relax knowing our documents were safe until we checked in. Our flight the following day was late evening but we were able to hold our bags securly in the hotel and the check out time was up until 1.00pm which is excellent. Close enough to the sights but far enough away from the centre of Barcelona which was about 11Euro in a taxi from the hotel. There was nothing that I did not like but I would recommend that they had a courtesy room for guests to shower change as I believe this is an ideal hotel for transit passengers. Myself and my family had just got off a cruise and were extending our holiday and I am sure other people would do the same. the courtesy room would be the icing on the cake. |

very comfortable, breakfast spread was more than satisfactory, proximity to metro and to other services (rambla poblenou only 2 blocks away) was very useful. check-in was delayed by 2 hours because room was not ready. was an issue for us because we had arrived from a west coast flight and we were extremely tired and sleepy. staff was not very empathetic about this. request for wake-up call also not complied with. except for one female staff member, i would characterize the rest of the front desk staff as indifferent and lacking in a hospitality approach. |

Hotel was very comfortable and perfect for our needs. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The area around the hotel was looking a bit derelict, though we could see some signs of regeneration. Hopefully this will improve soon. |

Very nice hotel, the rooms are big enough for a family or four. Very close to many restaurants and not far from the beach. The location is not that great but the city centre is just ten minutes drive. |

This hotel is situated in the new technological district of the city, near Port Olímpic and within easy access of the city centre. Enjoy a comfortable stay in this modern establishment. |
Located on the prominent Gran Via Avenue, within walking distance from Plaza Catalunya and other tourist attractions, the innovative and minimalist Soho Hotel gives its guests the best of Barcelona. |
This hotel is located in a square only 50 metres from Las Ramblas, in a lovely refurbished convent dating from 1720. The hotel is actually the oldest in the city and has been functioning since 1840. |
Set close to the Torre Agbar and Glòries shopping centre, a short walk from the beach and a city centre, this fantastically-equipped hotel has a stunning modern spa. |
