I'm a pianist and I wanted to play something on the piano in the piano-bar, and the staff told me it was forbidden. Since I've been playing piano for 40 years, I don't think I whould have hurt the grand piano. |

The location was great, service fine, and facilities nice. We were happy that they let us check in right away in the morning, as soon as we arrived after an overnight flight from the US. We really enjoyed our stay. |

The rooms/bathrooms were well appointed. The port/ marina was nearby, and you can catch the tour buses from outside the hotel. The pool was closed the top floor with the gym was not staffed when we visited and was poor. The first room we got was dirty. The main restaurant in the hotel was closed on the Monday night. I would have preferred to stay in a more central hotel. The area was noisy at night/day with a working port nearby. I did not think the hotel was value for money. |

friendly staff good food the airconditioning in our junior suite was not working we were sweating all through the night for two days and when we complained we were told to open the windows for breeze to come inside i have never seen this kind of thing in a five star hotel what a shame |

The hotel is in a nice setting on the harbour but not particuarly central and it is not a nice walk to the old town if that is where you wish to spend most of your time, |

staff was very helpful. after checking in we found out that hot water was flowing poorly in the bathroom. a technician came immediatley and after he couldn't resolve the problem we were moved to a beautiful suite. the concierge helped us a lot in booking great tapas places and restaurants for our dinners. the location of this hotel is excellent, both for touring the city and for relaxation as well. |

The hotel was luxurious and very modern. The room we had was a great size and the view from the window was lovely overlooking Barcelona. Breakfast and room service was also very good and the staff were friendly and helpful. The shower could have been hotter the temperature varied whilst in the shower. Also the pressure was not that strong. I would also mention that the cost of drinks in the hotel Bar was very high, compared to other 5 star hotels I have stayed in. |

The rooms are elegant, exceptionally quiet and the the staff is responsive. Rooms are beautifully presented and truly the space in the 26 square meter rooms is huge. The bathroom and separate walk-in closet was beyond expectation. The bed is not the softest you'll find but it doesn't merit complaint, either. We slept well. The peace in the location was a welcome respite from the city. |

The hotel was very clean and the staff was very responsive. They allowed us to check in early since we had arrived at 1000 the day before our cruise. There was no small cafe/store near the hotel that was open on the weekend. There is a place near the world trade center but it is closed on weekends. The hotel should consider adding this amenity. If you want to be able to get a coffee/snack, then consider staying on Las Ramblas. We had stayed at the Grand Marina thinking we could get to the cruise terminal by walking but that was not the case and had to pay 11Euro for a taxi. Staying in town in one of the quaint hotels where there is more action would have been much better. |

Very pleasant front desk staff, upon checking in. Well-appointed bathroom. Room, although on the small side for a 5-star hotel, had an excellent view over the port and city. It is very well-situated.... La Rambla is about a five minute stroll from the door. There was very little literature in the room with regard to the hotel's facilities. There was one booklet listing the fact that there was a gym and restaurants, but nothing more extensive than a list. I knew prior to booking that pool and spa facilites existed, but it would have been helpful to have information regarding hours of opening etc. |

I had a nice view to Port Vell from our room balcony. I have enjoyed a lot the port activities, all the cruises boats come and go. Our privacy was very well respected by the hotel personnel. The hotel is a modern building and our room was excellent, with fantastic view to Barcelona. In my opinion the breakfast price to be paid separately from the room is not a very good ideea. Also 24 Euro per day per person is a little bit expensive. We prefered to eat at the terraces and restaurants which are 5 minutes walk from the hotel. |

I would not stay here again... staff was rude and dismissive, maid service was inadequate (failure to replace towels).. restaurant was closed; we had to eat dinner in the bar off low tables... "free internet" was only in the lounge... location was far from restaurants and commerce. |

Its location...the hotel is perfectly located in the Marina area less than 10 minutes walk from La Rambla. It's a lovely hotel with quite unusually designed rooms...extremely comfortable. |
