The location was brilliant, close to Ramblas. The room was comfortable, clean and the shower was excellent. The staff were excellent and as it was my birthday I put my cards up in the room, when we returned there was a bottle of Cava and 2 pieces of chocolate cake. There were no facilities for tea of coffee, although the hotel would supply a kettle if requested. |

Internet access, newspapers, buffet breakfast, weather forecasts in lifts, central position, cleanliness, proximity to metro stations During our stay there was loud noise almost every evening. It appeared to be a child or adult shrieking and was very disturbing. Our bathroom shelf was not securely fixed. The small double room was smaller than anticipated. We were celebrating our Golden Wedding Anniversary but this was not recognised in any way - quite a disappointment after reading other visitors' reviews. |

The staff was incredibly nice and were so helpful and friendly. Really made you feel like they would do anything to please you, it was nice. It was always noisy... I'm not sure if there was a night club underneath my room... but I could always here a large group of people talking or partying or something, never seemed to be quiet and peaceful. |

I am staying 5 sequential years in this hotel from 2005 up to now. It is a nice centrally located hotel but in a very quiet street. The hotel staff is very kind and polite. The rooms are clean with lcd tv set and with very good baths. There is almost no rooms looking to the outside. The window usually looks toward a shaft and you almost cannot even guess if it is day or night. But if you plan to stay inside only for the nights or for afternoon siesta it is ok. |

excellent location near plaza catalunya and the ramblas room was too small to be classed as a double and was badly laid out ,air conditioning did not work properly and we had to pay extra for use of safety deposit box |

The reception staff was really friendly and very efficient. Really good to have computers free for use at the lobby. All in all the hotel is nicely designed, with a modern touch. I know i had booked a small double-room, but this was bordering on claustrophobic... The bathroom was however big! The soundproofing from the corridor was more or less non-existent. |

The breakfast was very good, with a variety of pastries, sausages, bacon, breads, fruits, coffee, etc. Although the room was a bit small (but it's ok since I was just alone), the bathroom was quite spacious, with a very good shower and tub. The front desk staff was very helpful in giving directions and calling for a taxi. I also liked that there was free wifi in the room. I was surprised that when I needed to print my boarding pass, printing was free of charge. The location of the hotel is excellent. It was near the Las Ramblas and the Plaza Catalunya, but in a relatively quiet street. The elevator is small. I didn't like that I had to pay for the safety box in the room. |

Pretty Nice Hotel. New part was a 2 elevator trip, however this wasnt too bad. Staff friendly, and rooms were clean (could be a little bigger though) Had to pay €2 per day for use of Safe, €3 per day for use of Tea & Coffee Facilities and had to request iron & ironing board to use, all of these facilities should be free and included in the room. |

The location of this hotel is exceptional, as it is just 1 minute away from a tube station, and only about 5-7 minutes away from Placa Catalunya and Ramblas. Breakfast is also quite good. The hotel is split into 2 interconnecting blocks, so if you happen to live in the second block, you need to use 2 lifts, and change on 2nd floor. Airconditioners are working, but just about bearly making it to keep the temperature adequate. It was rather hot outside, though, I must say. |

Excellent Location downtown (the metro station is only 30 m away). The breakfast and the bathroom were very good, there was free Internet access, as for the staff, everybody was extremely kind and helpful. The room was very small, with no view at all, and in the elevator there was a provocative ad: "if you want to improve your room, you can do it with just 30E per night!". Moreover, before I even saw the room, they charged my credit card for the whole period of staying. That was really annoying. What would happen if I wanted to change hotel? Last but not least, they are suggesting an extremely expensive restaurant nearby, serving minimal portions of tapas to the clients. |

The Hotel Turin is a delightful design hotel in a quiet side street just off La Rambla, 2 minutes from Plaça Catalunya, boasting free Wi-Fi and a lovely sun terrace. |
Very close to Las Ramblas, Plaza Catalunya and other attractions, but on a quiet side street, near a Metro station, we offer a superb location combined with brand new facilities (renovated in 2008). |
Located just off Barcelona’s famous street, Las Ramblas, the Hesperia Ramblas Hotel offers smart and stylish accommodation for your stay in this beautiful, monumental city. |
This stunning palace building was originally built in 1870 by architect Jerónimo Gralls, and is set just minutes from Plaça Catalunya and Passeig de Gràcia. |
