Its quietness, given its potentially noisy location. |

There is the right balance between friendly and efficient staff and too little interested in the guest. This hotel has got it just right. Fresh coffee instead of a machine would have been nice (breakfast) |

The hotel was very clean and modern. The staff were helpful, smart and efficient. The location is perfect for those wishing to be in the heart of the tourist district of Barcelona, Las Ramblas and La Boqueria less than fifty yards from the entrance, Gothic quarter two minutes walk and Placa Catalunya and Port Vell just a little further. Passaig de Gracia and Modernista buildings, Sagrada Familia and Parc de Montjuic are all easily accessible via the Metro at Liceu or by foot for the more energetic. The hotel lies just off the Ramblas down a small street which isn't the nicest in Barcelona and some might feel a bit uneasy with some of the characters that frequent it. However this can be said of many of the streets around the Ramblas and Barric Gothic late at night. Could do with tea and coffee making facilities within the hotel. |

Modern, comfortable room and stylish atmosphere. Location was very good. Quiet room in the busy Ramblas area. Very helpful and friendly staff. The airconditioning was not working the way we wanted. The room was too warm (in October). The staff tried to adjust the control panel, but it did not help much. |

Just got back from Barcelona where we stayed at Hesperia Ramblas. After looking for a decent hotel for months we came across with this hotel in booking.com and the reviews were positive so we decided to go for it. As other guests would agree, the location could'nt be better. The hotel is not on La Rambla which avoids the loudness, but on a street from La Rambla. Our room was overlooking a tiny street which opened to La Boqueria, where you can have fresh fruits for breakfast. The rooms are clean, perfectly decorated, a little bit on the small side, but hey.. we were there to see the city, not live in the room! Because the location is so central you can always go back to the hotel for a short break when you're tired :) The only downside was the fresh air problem. the weather was very good so we did not have to turn the air conditioner on but we woke up at night because there was no fresh air left in the room so we had to open the window to get some.. I realized the windows in the hallway were always open, probably because of this problem. There was also a weird smell in the hallway, but not in the rooms. |

The staff and the location and the breakfast I booked a double room and on my arrival was given a room with twin beds, I explained that my expectation was for a double bed and that I would have requested a twin room if I wanted twin beds. I was eventually offered a double bed in a very small room. I declined the offer. |

friendly staff, cleanliness overall, modern hotel no coffee making facilities in room, although meeting room had coffee available until midnight next to reception it wasnt free you had to pay for it. sometimes its the little things that make it better. also there were lots of papers, magazines etc but all in Spanish, I suggest they purchase international products for visitors |

The location was so good, just a few steps to Boqueria. The room was not small at all, the bathroom was clean and new, sleeping at night is no problem, the hotel is located in a silent street. I liked the hotel, seriously recommended.. |

Rooms very comfortable, fantastic power shower. Didn't have the breakfast at the hotel but I did look at the room where breakfast was served and it looked very nice and clean. The location of the hotel was just off La Rambla. Excellent location if you want to stay on La Rambla and having Liceu metro station so near by was ideal. |

Went 1 minute outside of hotel at 08.50 am. Tried to get into hotel. Used bell on hotel door for 10 minutes before anyone saw that someone was standing outside of hotel and desperately tried to get any attention from staff. Really bad experience! |
