The apartment was a good size and would be suited to families or backpackers on a budget as the cooking facilities were excellent, it was within easy access to the beach, and the metro station was within easy reach to get to the centre of the city The entrance to the apartment block was old and grubby, There was no garden to sit out, and there is no sat tv, the dvd player did not work, and you are charged 35 euro if you leave rubbish in the apartment, so the rubbish had to be dumped in the public bins, they also charge you a 50 euro cleaning fee, which is not included in the price |

To be honest not much apart from the City itself The slats on the cheap tempory bed were broken so we slpet on the dirty, dusty sofa bed which casued an allergic reaction having an asthma attack, sore, red itchy eyes and a runny nose. 1 day without hot water, and woken up by women shouting due to a missing window....we lasted 2 nights and found a lovely 4star hotel, Catalonia Berna which I will recommend. |

The Home Advice staff were very helpful following a number of querying e-mails from me and the apartment suited our needs very well. It must be remembered that this is an apartment, not a hotel, and hotel facilities should not be expected. Instead, there was a lovely new kitchen with washing machine and plenty of space which made this a great place to stay with a baby. The bath was very small (though this worked well for us as a baby bath) and the bed linen was flimsy which would have been a problem had it not been so warm. |

The Apartement was clean and tidy enough. The staff (Kati) was helpful and prior to arrival and upon arrival. Although it clean it was not the same as the images on the internet. Needed some decoration and the fan in the second bedroom only worked if you left the room light on!. The area was not a tourist area and was described as a beach view which it was not and was a 20 min walk from the beach. |

The information we recieved prior to arriving was excellent as in directions to the office to collect keys. The apartment was in a great location for the beach. It would be nice to have a little book recommending restauants and simple things like which bus to get to the town centre. The stairs to the apartment were quite steep. Not suitable for anybody frail. |

It was nice to have a kitchen to cook during our stay. The apartment was also centrally located. The bed was uncomfortable and the hotel was far from the check-in location. |

Staffs are nice, but.... We booked this Hostel (better to say, private apartment) because of its location, direct to La Rambla. BUT: after the arrivel we were be told that the adress of the Apartment is only a office! The apartment is not to La Rambla----We drove 15 Min. to get the apartment (really far away to city). |

It was an apartment in the old town of Barcelona, very close to the city center, in a walking distance of 5-10 minutes. |

We liked the fact that it was in the middle of a neighborhood. We enjoyed experiencing daily life in the heart of Barcelona. All the locks on the front door are a bit inconvenient and the shower is way to small and uncofortable. |

A nice and good equipped appartment, but a small one. There is a bus just in front of it and couple of markets very close. You can get to the beach in 5 min. The second bedroom is very small, with 2 beds on top of each other. There is no heating, except for two old and inefficient air conditioning devices. |

We liked the central location, but the noise outside was unbearable, it went on up to 2am every night (no double glazing - in the city ??). There was a lack of kitchen utensils. The cups were chipped !! and the work top in the kitchen was badly broken, it could have easily cut someone. |

Great location in the very centre of Barcelona, huge space, beautiful apartment and clean enough. Kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed. The only problem was electricity. At night, when we used the hair dryer the electric current would fall down. |

The position of the apt. near the center of Barcelona, the cleanliness of the streets The rooms are not well heated (because there's only one room with the heating), the double room is very small and the bed occupies almost the entire room, so it's impossible to tidy it and to make the bed. The bathroom is very small as well, and doesn't have shelves to lay objects. |

The location of the apartment is very central yet it is in the middle of a bad neighbourhood. When we first went to the apartment we were scared it was going to be dangerous at night but to our suprise it was not at all. It was in a narrow street you would expect to be isolated from the citys noise but there was a lot of noise at night from the neighbours. There was something wrong with the electricity I guess, netiher the conditioner nor the refrigerator worked properly. The apartment was really dirty. Even the toilet paper was not enough. |
