The Hotel Regina does not deserve a four-star rating. It lacks the comfort, charm, taste, and elegance of a first class hotel. I checked out after one night and moved to the Hotel Colon. |

I stayed in room 113 and the room was terribly noisy which didn't let me sleep the whole night. The noise was coming I assume from the elevator but also from something that sounded like a gaz boiler that went on every few minutes. This is not to reflect that all rooms are that crap but what I expect from a one-night stay in a 4star executive hotel is quality of sleep and I didn't get it for reasons that the hotel is solely responsible for. |

Its location is amazimg right in the centre, hotel is beside all the tour buses starting points and there is plenty of shopping centres. The bus from the airport drops you less than a two minute walk from the door of the hotel. Staff were friendly and very helpful. |

The locations is excellent, the family room was very spacious, the staff were very helpful and kindly gave us a late check out of 4pm which was excellent. They did not provide complimentary water, the bathroom stank of sewage, the walls are quite thin. |

The location of the hotel is very central. It is besides one of Barcelona's main ground transport hubs. It is also within walking distance to the Old City and La Rambla. The room is reasonably big and house-keeping was excellent. The hotel also accommodated my request for a room on the upper floors (since a reviewer complained of noise from the underground metro at lower floors). There was no coffee/tea making facility in the rooms. |

The room had a balcony, there were bathrobes and slippers in a comfortable room and it was well located at the top of the Ramblas. Since it was off a side street, it was also very quiet and near good restauranats. The staff were very helpful and friendly and spoke good English The shower head would not stay in the holder - so had to be hand held. I assume that this was not a general problem though |

The hotel staff were excellent& even when we found a fault in the bathroom it was promptly dealt with.The location is excellent & is a minutes walk from the start of the city bus tours which give you cheap access to all the sights of the city. |

The location is excellent. A few blocks from everything, including metro and buses. Staff is nice and helpful. They agreed to change our room on the first floor which opened a to a patio in the back of the building and upgraded us to the 4th floor with street view. The building is old but newly renovated. Rooms are clean and nice but small. Highly recommended. |

This is an excellent hotel were you have a good value for money. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice rooms and ok breakfast. Free wireless internet is a big pluss. This is my second time at the hotel and I will 100% sure use it next time to Barcelona. It is situated just in the right place for nightlife, shopping, restaurants and not to far from Nou Camp... Just keep up the good service, this is great. |

Nice hotel, ideally located Friendlyness of the reception staff was mixed, one of three employees was very unfriedly, I asked for a quiet room and did get one of the noisiest. |

The hotel was very well located. The staff were very professional, friendly and helpful. The choice for breakfast was good and the food tasty. Overall we throughly enjoyed our stay in Hotel Regina and would stay there again if visiting Barcelona |

Its excellent location; walking distance to la ramblas, gothic quarters and eximmple areas.Lots of restaurants around the area and a supermkt just opposite the hotel. The staff could be a little friendlier Also, we had to open the small window in our room to let in cool air cos the room was a bit stuffy on an unusual hot day.We checkit with front desk and seemed that it was managementś policy to switch off the air-con. I thought a bit of flexibility is necessary here. |
