I like it that I was given a room upgrade because the interior room suffers a lot of noise -the building work is so great next door- it is a full building refurbishment that may take several weeks |

A very cosmopolitan, stylish and 'heterofriendly' hotel in great location for exploring the city. No tea/coffee facilities in the room was the worst aspect. After a day of sight-seeing all you need is to relax in your room before going off out again for the evening. The same problem too first thing in the morning. To order room service every time would have been terribly expensive. |

This hotel was the most expensive of the 5 hotels I stayed in whilst in Barcelona, and it is the only one I would not go back to. If you want to stay in a budget hostel, then do so and pay budget hostel prices. The images used on its website are clearly out of date as the hotel is tatty, furnished top to bottom in ikea, or even worse, ikea rip-offs, and certainly hopes that the market it caters to won't care when they get in, off their faces, at 4am. I disliked most of the hotel, with the exception of the bar, which is trendy and staffed by a great bar lady. |

Straight Friendly - good location , staff and excellent standard breakfast in comparison to nearby hotels. 11€ for a Mojito in the bar could have been around 7 or 8€ |

i liked the location , the small scale , the friendly and efficient staff , the roofterrace , the diversity of the guests , the "entre nous " feeling , the fresh design appearance of the rooom the cold cuts of the breakfast ( meats , salmon , cheese ) were lukewarm and did not look and taste good ..... on tv i would prefer more english channels like hbo or comedychannel and less german .... |

The moment I stepped in the hotel lobby the staff greeted me with a nice hotel and asked about how my flight was. The front desk clerks were exceptionally helpful in all the questions I had. They probably get the same questions from all of the guest yet they don't seem to mind at all answering same questions all the time. |

I thought the room was very nice. Clean, large with a very nice bathroom. The pool area and bar was very nice too- just one thing-it could do with a few more sun loungers as there are very few. My towel was taken off mine when I went to the pool bar for a drink! The pool bar was closed on the Monday and Tuesday of our stay but reopened again on the Wednesday- it would have been nice to have it all along as there were no snacks or lunch available without it. |

Genuinely friendly staff, generous with their gestures, always willing to give that little bit extra help. Some of the furniture is beginning to look a little worn |

The hotel is very centrally located, on a convenient corner, just blocks away from all the major boulevards where most of the shopping, cafes, clubs, bars, metro stops, etc. are located. The staff was friendly and helpful and all spoke English very well. The hotel is clinical in style and furnishing, but especially noisy, both from the streets and the hard tiled floors thougout the corridors. I would recommend this hotel at a certain price point, but not for what many guests were paying. The hotel is aiming for the "w" chic branding but falls far short in amenities and service. However, it tries to get a premium by promoting itself as a "gay" hotel which will have a certain appeal to some, especially those who want to stay in the gay district. |

Set in the centre of Barcelona, just a short walk from the monumental Passeig de Gracia, with its impressive Gaudí architecture, and the lively main square, Plaça Catalunya and Las Ramblas. |
The Acevi Villarroel offers a rooftop pool, free Wi-Fi access and a full spa with sauna. It is located near Universitat Metro Station, in Barcelona’s famous Eixample district. |
Located on the prominent Gran Via Avenue, within walking distance from Plaza Catalunya and other tourist attractions, the innovative and minimalist Soho Hotel gives its guests the best of Barcelona. |
The hotel has a superb location in the heart of Barcelona’s city centre, between Paseo de Gracia and Rambla de Cataluña. |
