Wonderfully quiet! Large room (suite). Comfortable bed. Nice balcony. Nice looking bathroom. Value for money. Pretty lobby with comfortable furniture. Helpful staff. Two computers and a printer downstairs for free guest use - fabulous for checking emails, news and flight check in!! Great location for seeing all the sights, and a lovely safe area of town. the lighting in the room was horrible !! you could not read anything at all without holding it straight up to the lamp. We complained at reception and they knew of this problem. (But why don't they simply put in better lightbulbs in the lamps?) Plus the shower drain did not work well in 2 of our rooms so it came close to overflowing. The breakfast had terrible juices - made from powder most likely. |

The room was very comfortable, with balcony overlooking the street at 4th floor. The natural light was excellent, noise no problem and bathroom more than adequate. Staff helped greatly with advice on restaurants and transport options. We had 3 nights here and 3 in the old part of town. Hotel Constanza was by far the better of the two, although the other was also good. |

The hotel had great design and the reception staff were very friendly. They went out of their way to help answer questions, give directions and provide ice and glasses for our room. The hotel was spotlessly clean. The bed was very hard and for the 1st two nights the bed covers were insufficient for the temperature (it was cold). Duvets were provided for the last 3 nights. The tiled floors looked great and were clean but meant the rooms were a little noisy when guests came home late. |

From the very first moment we arrived the first things that grabbed me were the beautiful design and cleanliness of the Hotel. Having arrived in Spain from Paris (which as I am sure you know is filthy everywhere) this was a great relief. Additional things to mention would be: the friendliness of the staff; the value for money; the balcony; the washroom (especially the shower which was huge) and the location. Barcelona has always been my favourite city- I am happy to say i have now found my favourite Hotel in the City. We will return again and again! The only disappointments were the size of the fridge (way too small), shower gel packets (same problem as with the fridge) and the fact that the bar closed very early (11.30pm) |

The room had a very contemporary design and quite comfortable, very clean and quiet. Excellent location on a quiet street but just a few blocks from Metro stops and Plaza Catalunya and the Gran Via and Gracia avenues. Front desk staff were always very pleasant and helpful. Excellent prices. Best for couples travelling. Free internet in lobby. |

Great location, easy access to Metro, close to City Center and tourist sights but not in a noisy heavy traffic area. Reasonable sized modern decorated room for price range and european standards. Helpful staff, english speaking. Very good vaule for Barcelona which tends to have fairly high room rates. Reviews were fairly accurate for this Hotel. The intensity of the lighting due to the use of low wattage e saving LED's was very dim lit and poor. Wife not pleased with bathroom lighting level. No english language Sat tv stations. |

Great location for seeing the sites, gentle stroll to the main sites La Pedrera (Casa Milá) etc hop on the great transport, bus or metro to see the amazing Parc Güell (a park) or Sagrada Familia Cathedral, all near by. So much to see, the location of this hotel really is fab. Make sure you get a Barcelona card (like a travel card in the UK). Although the hotel is just a 2 star, it is modern and we stayed in the suite, amazing walk in showers! And lovely little balconies. Breakfast was €10 each, self services we thought it was perfect. Would have been nice to have a kettle in the room, but it is a 2 star at the end of the day. Because it is a conversion of an old building, the walls on the rooms seem thin, but we did not have any major issues. We had a couple of days of a cold showers seems the system was playing up, but we could see they were fixing it. |

Brilliant location, friendly and helpful staff, clean and beautiful room. Also a great value. Only complaint, like others, is the dim lighting in the room. Fine most of the time, but not so good for reading or finding things in one's suitcase. |

Good sized room (double), pleasant design, well-situated and a good buffet breakfast provided, albeit at extra charge. During my stay, the hotel seemed to experience problems with the delivery of hot water on two occasions. Both were resolved, but this took some while which resulted in cold/lukewarm showers on two occasions. These were the only problems in an otherwise enjoyable stay, and will not prevent me from using the hotel again, or from recommending it to others. |

The Hotel Constanza is a real find, with a great location and nice design. The terrace was a huge plus and best of all it offers great value for money. Whilst you get a stylish hotel on a budget this does mean there are a couple of shortcomings. Soundproofing is poor and you will hear the people in the room next door. The lack of a bar means there's nowhere in the hotel for a quick nightcap before bed, but maybe this isn't such a bad thing! |

Very quiet, relaxing and central hotel. Modern design, friendly but unobtrusive staff who spoke excellent English. Lovely light, continental breakfast ( though would have preferred real orange juice ). Minutes from Plaza Catalunya, yet a respite from the hustle and bustle. |

The front desk personnel were very friendly and helpful. Th hotel is very conveniently situated and the breakfast was a good value. Everything was very clean and neat and having accesss to the internet fom the lobby was convenient. Our back suite room was quiet and the balcony very pleasant and relaxing. The room lighting was not good especially in the sitting area |

I liked my first room, however it was a double, and I realized that I could save money by changing to a single. I would recommend this hotel, only for doubles. I didn't like the single room quality. It was quite a step down. By going to the single, I had a hard bed, a tiny bathroom, and lost CNN & BBC on the TV. I asked for a mattress pad, to soften the hard mattress, but nothing was done about that. The staff all had beautiful smiles, though, and were very likeable. |

Location is great just 3 blocks from central square and Ramblas street, staff is very friendly, very modern interior design, recently renovated, clean. We arrived to the hotel a few hours before the check in time but our room was ready for us in a couple of minutes. Staff was trying very hard to make us comfortable and happy. We had great experience at the hotel. |

Hotel was good value for money. Room was spacious and comfortable. Loved the terrace. Friendly and helpful receptionist. Good location: quiet street but close to Catalunya Place. Overall happy with this hotel. The matrasses of the beds could have been better, as they were quite hard. |
