The hotel is very near to Metro station Selva de Mar. The staff are very friendly and helpfull. The breakfast was good. |

This was the first holiday my girlfriend and I had taken together and I have to say for location to the beach which we both wanted it was excellent the staff were friendly and courteous throughout our stay and our room was excellent. We didn't eat at the hotel so I can't say anything about the food. However it seemed to be more fast food looking at the menu and the bar closed at 11 every night and it seemed it wasn't a bar as such. However I would recommend the hotel and would stay again as it was peaceful and was 5 mins walk from the beach it was extremely clean and all bed linen and towels were changed on a daily basis it is also only 5 mins to metro and you are in centre of Barcelona in no more than 15 mins. |

We did not meat anybody else exept receptionists. I am working on reception in ireland in a 4 star hotel, just the same as Husa Barcelona . The service is up to a 2 star. The pool on the roof can not be used, very dirty, and cold.We asked the second day change room as there was a party going on. We couldnt sleep at all the first night.we asked change room on the second night, the receptionist said he can not change the room.The hotel was actually EMTY....Good service??? |

I liked the location and thought the price was right. The rooms are well decorated and clean. My girlfriend and I called the office to make sure that if we ordered room service we could put the charge on a different credit card than the one that paid for the room. The hotel staff assured us that this would be no problem at all, but when we went to check out we were told that splitting the bill was impossible and we had to put all charges on the original card. At the time it was very upsetting as the card they had was at it's limit and I had to pay an overcharge fine because of their irresponsible information. |

Easy to get to the center by the metro, l4 . Due to former guest notes we were aware of and choose to have breakfast outside the hotel, "just around the corner" for half the price. No not really, but as we were two persons we had appreciated two chairs in the room instead of only one. Internet connection was expensive and you paid for running hours ahead not flexible to hours of usage. |

It's close to the beach, to the subway station and bus stop. It has a small swimming pool on the top floor which is also nice. Breakfast hours go up to 11 am, great when you are on vacation and want to take your time. A tip for travelers arriving by plane and staying at this hotel: take the bus 41 from Plaza Cataluna to get there, if you go by subway there are lots of stairs and no elevator. It's a bit disappointing for a 4 star hotel, it could have a nicer design/interior decor. Also, they could have higher standards for the cleaning. Not that anything was dirty in my room, but there were water marks in the sink, which could have been very easily wiped off and the joints in the bathroom walls could use some kind of bleaching. You know, it's just little details which would normally pass unnacounted for, but when you're staying at a 4 star you expect a little more. The rooms are not very sound proof either, that can lead to unpleasent episodes. Finallly, when will Spain approve a law banning smoking indoors? Our room was non smoking and indeed it didn't smell of cigarette but in the hall you could sometimes smell it. |

Location is just brilliant - 5 minutes walk to the sea, metro station (Selva de Mar) and tram stop. No tea/coffee making facilities, strange smell from the bathroom, very very very poor breakfast. The room could have been cleaner... |

It was perfect. We had friends go and spend 3 times as much on their rooms and ours was just as nice. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was clean. There was enough space too. The maid put my clothes that were on the floor in the budet. Good thing it was clean! Ha! |

Very Clean, excellent helpful English speaking staff. Close to the beach and has a very good terrace swimming pool. Would have liked a balcony......the room smelt of cigarette smoke...not a good smell when England now has a ban on public smoking |

Hotel room is very nice, as the staff. Really close to the beach. Pool area could be improved. Take care to the phone calls, it can cost you some extra euros even if you don't succeed on the call. |

during my stay in barcelona we mainly visited the museums and shops.We found that having a car was a major factor as the hotel was a fair distance from the major sites.Therefore it would have cost considerably more money having to use taxis to get around No coffee or tea making facilities.That is something we are used to when travelling across europe.. |

The rooms were extremely spacious and the facilities were excellent. Quite close to the metro station and it is in a fairly quiet area. Found the staff to be very helpful. |

Looks like hotel was recently remodeled and updated. Our air conditioner was broken and we could not open our window to cool it down. Temps got close to 90 in the room. Floors are wood and the door conjoining to the next room did not produce a sound barrier at all. Toucan hear everything from the next room. Whispering was clear as day. |
