The location was great, staff very friendly, and the hotel was very clean. We only needed a hotel for 1 night in the city before we flew out the next day. So it was great for what we needed...a place to sleep. The rooms were a little small, but to be expected in Europe I guess. We were only staying for 1 night, if we were there for a week we would have definitely wanted a larger room. We had a triple, which was harder to find in Barcelona than I would have thought...if you want to stay reasonably priced. So we were happy to have 3 beds! |

Big clean room with terrace on the 5th floor with view about the roofs of Barcelona. Hotel is located in a quiet street although La Rambla + Place Catalunya are just few hundred meters away. Good breakfast with fantastic coffee which you can take on a nice terrace. only 2 sockets in this really big room :-) |

'Old air' quiet hotel, good position, excellent breakfast, very clean rooms, air conditioning if need; friendly staff, english speaking. Because the building is old, some of the rooms are small; also, the windows could be rather small, with access to small inner covered courtyards, so that it could be rather dark in the room and the air there could be hard breathable. |

The seroundings, a comfortable and peaceful environment in the hotel. The staff was most of the time helpful and friendly. Our room was cleaned every day and the cleaners did more than was needed (in a good way) Breakfast was good. The location couldn't be better, everything from shops to dinner places were nearby. We had to wait long before we could check in when we arrived. Longer than normally was planned. |

one of the staff was very friendly with the children. I also requested a room clean which i received immediately on the first day i placed my baby in the cot provided and it collapsed on my child. when i phoned down to ask for someone to fix/replace it i was told to wait till later and the phone put down on me. when i went down to the reception the same woman said "well what do you wnat me to do about it??" i ended up having to fix it myself. |

The location just off Las Ramblas is excellent. Ideal for short city break and for anyone interested in Skateboarding as it is right beside macba, skaters haven.The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Also very knowledgable regarding finding places and things to do in Barcalona.Although old and small the hotel is very clean. The rooms are very small with only one electrical socket. Bathrooms tiny with just half bath. Old fashioned wardrobe. |

A good location in the city center .The family room for 4 was big and clean better than I expected for a two star hotel.The hotel had a nice athmosphere with some charm and helpful staff. The breakfast choice was limited. |

Our room and bathroom were adequately large and coloufully furnished. They were kept spotlessly clean by the room staff. The approach to the breakfast room was grand and historic and the room itself large and bright. Buffet breakfasts were tasy and wholsome if a bit limited in choice. I was expecting more adventurous breakfasts including fruit salad, and cooked bacon and sausages. Proper coffee and tea would be preferable to a machine. Soundproofing between rooms was not really adequate; noises from next door were sometimes obtrusive. |
