The room ammedities were nice. Locaton of hotel great. Check in was a night mare. Came to hotel from a cruise with many other people and they had one person checking people in and had to wait until 3:00pm to have room. Very very poor service.i |

The reception staff (especially, pronounced, Don I) was terrific.I fell during a tour in Barcelona and missed the 2nd half to Madrid, thereby leaving me without a room for 3 nights. I was very appreciative that Le Meridien had an opening for one of the nights I was without a room. When my shower flooded the bathroom they assigned me a second room. The complimentary Illy coffee was very nice. Almost everything. The style is too modern for me. When the bathroom flooded it took two calls for them to send someone with towels as the water had gone out to the entrance hall and into some of the bedroom carpeting. They offered no assistance in moving my things down the hall. The main thing I did not like (and I should have known) is they do not have a terrace or any outside area for relaxation. I chose not to stay for the 4-night non-refundable prepaid reservation I had. That decision was made before I needed of a room because of the fall earlier in the week. |

I loved the real Spain experience... the people, la Ramblas, the buildings,access to the subway, banks and business. The people at the desk were very helpful and accomendating. No television availbale in English. |

The location was excellent, room was superb 708 and the athmosphere was nice. Also the staff was very proffessional and friendly. the whole lobby area was dull. no feeling - that goes also for the bar and restaurant eventhough the service was very good. |

The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful & spoke excellent English. The location was superb - right on the la Ramblas convenient to public & tour transportation as well as a multitude of restaurants, bars, cafes and shops in all price ranges. Our room had a gorgeous and very large terrace with very comfortable seating perfect for morning coffee, afternoon breaks and evening cocktails. Thehotel was great - would highly recommend to others, and we would definitely stay there again. |

We booked a suite and deluxe room and both were excellent particularly the bathrooms. Every item of toiletries were provided + robes and slippers. They even provided you with an umbrella which unfortunately we needed. |

location, breakfast, concierge air condition. It is unacceptable not to have an individual temperature control in the room. Consequence was choice between heat or noice. Value for money not good under this conditions. |

fantastic location..........everyone was so helpful and nice. Room was in an excellent location, on side street......could not hear any noise through windows...would stay there again..... Food portions were very small at CentOnze restaurant........was even charged for the bread???????? but waiters were excellent. |

the staff at the reception and in the restaurant was always very nice and helpful. The lunchs at the restaurant had a very good price/money relation (February). Many of the restaurant staff knew French as well as English. The supervising & control (by a very nice lady) of the cleaning people appeared as being really serious and efficient the breakfast buffet might be considered as being too expensive for what is offered; another breakfast choice should be offered for people who prefer having always lunch at 1 pm and who are not so attracted by a big American breakfast |
