Sehr gelungenes Designer Hotel noble Ausstattung in den Zimmer super Ausblick über Barcelona (wohnte im 19.Stock) Lage ca. 10 geh min. zum Meer Sehr sehr komischer Geruch im ganzen Hotel; Wände zum Nachbarzimmer sehr dünn bzw. Zimmertür gewitscht (hört wenn man ins Zimmer kommt bzw. geht) Frühstück relativ teuer á € 22,-- |

Ein schönes Hotel mit großartigen Blick auf Barcelona, hilfsbereite Hotelcrew, sehr neue und moderne Ausstattung der Zimmer, nur 10 Minuten bis zum Stadtzentrum mit der nahen U-Bahn, ein tolles Italienisches (leider kein spanisches) Restaurant nur 50-100 m vom Hotel entfernt, in der Hotellobby liegen ganz tolle Art-Bücher zur Ansicht, sehr schnelle Lifts Die Rezeption ist sehr langweilig gestaltet, das Frühstücksrestaurant viel zu eng und auch zu klein, manchmal bildeten sich Warteschlangen davor, das Angebot ist nicht berauschend und für ein 5-Sterne-Hotel zu bescheiden, z.zt große Baustellen auf beiden Seiten vom Hotel, die in der Woche, als wir dort waren, wegen Feiertagen still lagen und nur optisch störten. |

The ME Barcelona was new and fresh with an interesting lobby and bar area. Also, if the weather is right, the pool area looks nice! The hotel is also close to a tram stop, which takes you to near the center of Barcelona in a relatively short period of time. The staff was always friendly and helpful and great at getting taxis. I thought that the value for money was not very good. This is based on the fact that the hotel is quite a ways to the main BCN attractions and you either need to take a taxi or public transport to reach them. I read several reviewers say that it is a nice walk to the center - I like to walk, and I have to disagree with this characterization. Finally, the size of the rooms and the quality of the finishings and furnishings are okay but not great. As some examples, I would cite a stained sink (not dirty, but stained), poor plaster work around the light fixtures, poor tile job in the bathroom, dirty windows (which is a shame given the nice view), etc. For the price and given that it holds itself out as a design hotel, one would expect more |

although check in time is not until 3 we arrived at 11 and there was no problem, found staff at reception and the porter very helpful in relation to equiries of where to go and what to do and organising taxis and helping with any queries we had during our stay thought the bar at the pool area on the 6th floor was very unreasonable price wise in relation to the menu they have, far too expensive |

Ww had a great weekend stay at Hotel ME and was pleasantly surporised at the high standard of the hotel. The pool area is great and the service of the pool staff girl - Sine was to be complimented. |

Centrally located and trendy hotel. Nice pool area. Friendly and helpful staff. Price level of beverages, parking and breakfast was way to high. Parking can be easily found for free in a big parking lot behind the hotel and breakfast can be found to the fraction of the price in the close area. Aircond was set to 26 deg C all time, could not adjust and had to keep blinds closed to avoid too high temp in room on the seaview side. |

the swimming pool on the roof....... but only that! personnel: was not enough, the room: really little, and miss external light, the price of the hotel doesn't correspond to the quality expected. not really easy acess from the center: need to change lines of metro everytimes. |

Rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Staff were very approachable and willing to help in any matters that arose. Very cool pool area. The food was good but I would expect a much higher standard for the cost. |

the hotel crew was noticeable kind, friendly and helpful! always with a little smily in the face like i expect from a 5 star hotel. The "strange smell" in the hotel, other guests mentioned before is defently a matter of taste, because i liked it and my girlfriend to. ok there is one thing, which is absolutely going wrong there: Friday and Saturday Night after a romantic bottle of red wine on the beach we went to the hotel bar at the ground floor for a good night drink and the barkeepers treadet us really very bad just because we were not looking like the normal 5star hotel guests. |

The price what I paid was excellent for this kind of hotel! 348 euro for 4 nights/double room. There is a strange smell in the hotel, maybe because of lack of fresh air. But I think that this is a general problem in Barcelona - with canalization. |

Everything is possible Not a loy of privacy because the bathroom and room are open onto each other, so it can get a bit noisy if a person wants to shower while the other one is sleeping |

The breakfasts were good. The sky restaurant was not on the 24/25th floor. That one was closed. The only open restaurant was on the ground floor and they called that 'the sky restaurant'. The jaccuzi was not working. It was cold and they said there was a problem. There was no 'chocolate pool'. The view from the room would have been good had the windows been clean and you could have seen through them. |

El diseño vanguardista y el personal del hotel Creo que para ser un cinco estrellas le faltan detalles importantes. La habitación no era como esperaba ( 27 m2, vistas al mar, por lo que pagué la habitación más cara...) el mar se veía muy muy a lo lejos y la habitación estaba bien, pero creo que no lo suficiente como para ser un cinco estrellas.Otro dia pedimos en recepción que nos llamaran un taxi, y nos mandaron salir a la calle, y cojerlo en la parada, que si es cierto que estaba lejos, pero repito, no concuerda con un 5*. Bajamos a cenar al restaurante del hotel, y a pesar de que había mesas vacías nos dijeron que teniamos que esperar 10 min y que pidieramos algo en el bar,para luego una vez que pedimos, hacernos entrar y para rematar nos hicieron volver al bar para tomar un chupito. |
