Central location for easy airport transfers. Breakfasts completely unacceptable. Even freshly served hot food was stone cold. Badly organized, fresh items off ham and cheese for example would be brought even though those plates were still already full, whilst other empty dishes, even essentials such as milk were left un replenished. |

Location was perfect for shopping and one could easily move around the city by walking, metro, bus etc. Although in the center of the city, rooms were quiet for sleeping. Hotel seems to be fairly recently renovated and is in good shape. Modern design. Room was adequately big for two persons and mainly for staying overnight. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. More accuracy needed in service. |

Great location, friendly staff. Weird showers, design over practicality (especially in the bathroom) - I prefer more practical solutions. We had a suite, and the bathroom was most impractical. |

Good location, nice room, good sound proofing. Reasonable price for what they offer. Glassed in toilet area lacks some privacy. Breakfast seems expensive. I did not use it. |

Showers were incredible. Location excellent yet quiet. Rooms were spacious especially for Europe. Restaurant very stylish; and waiter very professional and personable. We had to change rooms from 2nd floor to 6th floor as the noise from closing and set up of cafe below bothered us at 3am and 7am. They were accomodating after 2 of 7 days. . two suggestions for hotel which are very minor: need hole to drain water in soap holder in shower. And it would be nice if they engaged a university student or professor with his/her class to do a little historical write up on the significance of walls and site of the patio restaurant at hotel. |

The location of the Olivia Plaza hotel on the Plaza de Catalunya was fantastic, right in the centre of things. It was a little noisy at times but we were there during Merce 09. |

Location, location, location. The hotel is in Plaza Catalunya which sits right in between La Rambla and the Paseo de Gracia. The staff was ok- cordial but not overly helpful. |

The staff at the reception was very friendly. Hotel is very centrally located. It has small nice yard for breakfast. In the rooms you can hear the noise of other doors shutting - to the degree that it sounds like someone else enters your room. Bathroom has glass doors - so you are almost like in the room. Cleaners should work better - its a recently renovated place, but bits of it are already run down. |

The best thing about Olivia Hotel is that is location is right smack in the middle of the shopping district. The side street has night entertainment till midnight and lot of souvenirs shop. Easy to catch their city tour bus too. The shower room drainage was not so good. Each time you take a shower, the water flows out from the shower room and tend to wet the bathroom. |

rooms are clean and very modern, location is perfect, breakfast alternatives are satisfied. To sum up: I liked it very much. There is no window you can open! it is just a glass from up to down. You always have to keep the curtains close as poeple may see you in your room from outside. If you close the curtain then why we are staying there?Plus it is not a not a normal curtain I think they need to think about this... |

Very clean, room, toilet and shower area. Plenty of clean towels too. Loved the location being so near to la Ramblas. Didn't eat there so can't comment on the food and restaurant area. |

The Olivia Plaza was easy to find and very convenient to the city sights. The dining patio was superior to what would be expected in the center of a large city. Very charming! The sound-proff and sun-proof shades are an excellent idea except that we had trouble with the mechanism getting caught and unrolling crooked. It may just have been that one room and not a big deal. |

Great location. Very modern and well decorated rooms with great lighting, great view of Placa Catalunya, comfortable bed, and very nice shower (I was upgraded to a superior room). Hotel staff was very friendly. They let me check in early (they called as soon as my room was ready). They have free internet (2 pcs) and free wireless connection if you want to use your own laptop. They don't have a business center, but they let me print (for free) a few articles I sent them by email. You cannot open the windows so the air can get a bit dry. On one day they did not clean my room even though I was out from 10:30am to 3:30pm. They also did not add new shampoo, bath gell, and toilette paper every day. Also, one day they had synchronization problems with the air condition. However, all the problems above were solved immediately when I called the reception desk. |
