The staff were friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and everything worked. You couldn't get a better location - close to Las Ramblas, the main market, Placa Catalunya metro station and the airport shuttle bus stop. Hotel is very secure: person on the desk has to open the door for you and they ask you your details if they haven't seen you before. Single rooms are literally not big enough to swing a cat, not that I wanted to. There is no storage space for clothes. The window has an interesting view of the lift mechanism! If I was booking again for more than a day or two I'd go for a double. Breakfast is a bit frugal but you can't complain for the price. |

The hotel was near most of the areas we wanted to visit on our brief stay in Barcelona. Beds were comfortable. Rooms were clean. Need more trash basket space in bathroom. Also need one in the bedroom area. |

The front desk staff went out of their way to be helpful. The hotel was immaculate, and ideally located for "tourism" and local transportation. The included breakfast was more than just "Continental" and gave us enough to get the day started. Hotel occupants had free internet access on the hotel lobby computer. Needed additions in the room include a box of facial tissues and a washcloth. I could not get the room ventilation fan to operate. There is inadequate shelf/storage space for a stay of more than a couple of days. |

Friendly and helpful staff, breakfast buffet all you can eat until 11, room fairly quiet, very central location, clean, all functional. no real showstoppers. it's not true that you don't have facilities to put your clothes, there was no closet in my room but shelves and a clothes rail with plenty of hooks, what's enough for me. the mattress was not the best, you could feel the springs, but i could sleep and i'm pretty sensitive, so it was ok. some reviewers claim the rooms are too dark, you need artificial light during the day, that's true, but that's normal in the historic center of Barcelona as the houses are build very close to each other and therefore in the 1st floor you don't have much light from outside. if you don't like this you shouldn't book a hotel room in a historic building. you can hear a lot from other rooms, so i wouldn't like to stay there with really loud neighbour travellers. |

The hotel is 2 mins to La Ramblas which is very cool. The room does not have any wardrobe, you need to hang your clothes outside. The breakfast is a standard one and you should not expect too much. My room was looking at a building which was very close, so it was dark. |

We had one day to see Barcelona and were given a comprehensive introduction to the best sites to see, how to access them and get the most out of our brief stay by the front desk personnel. We followed their suggestions and had a wonderful day! |

Superb location. Close to Placa de Catalunya, ideal for public transport also at night. And right in the city centre. Modern clean hotel. Relatively quiet street for centre. We knew because of the reviews, but still very small rooms without cupboard but shelf and coat hanger to store clothes. Balcony sizes vary, the higher the smaller. On 5th floor just enough space to stand. |

2 minutes walk to the Ramblas, new clean Hotel and a good price for a twin room. Breakfast is ok. Service was ok, but (internet) checkin in flight back wasn't included. Just takes 5 minutes. Only downside to a 1 star Hotel. |

Excellent location - 2 mins off Las Ramblas, 4 mins from Liceu Metro. Good, basic, clean, modern accommodation - totally adequate for a city break when not spending a great deal of time sitting around in hotel. |

Promiximity to Las Ramblas, bus station for airport transfer and accessibility to 2 metro stations - Liceu and Catalunya but yet it's still quiet at night. No coffee making machine in the room and the TV was fixed too high up on to the wall/ceiling. |

The hotel staff was very nice and helpful, and they spoke several languages. The location was excellent, just a short block from La Ramblas, the main pedestrian street in Barcelona. And the free internet in the lobby was a nice perk. The single room was tiny, not a lot of space for your things, or to move around. There is also no view on the backside of the hotel from the balconies. Additionally, I shared the elevator one night with a male guest and the prostitute he had picked up on the street, and I was very surprised the front desk clerk allowed them to come inside. The breakfast was also just so-so. |
