The staff was wonderful. Especially the front desk. Whenever we left there, they asked us where we were going & gave us helpful ideas. They were so helpful in every other way we needed. The ability to store your luggage-free-until you fly out or catch a late evening cruise, was a great benefit. We would highly recommend it. |

Our first trip to barcelona we stayed in an apartment at Diagonal Mar. Being in the city at the Ramblas gave us much better access. The toilet made a horrible sound, water ran continuously in toilet, not worth a complaint, just slightly annoying. I thought it was construction |

location....right on Las Ramblas however you can stay near las ramblas one or two blocks off this main street and get a better hotel for the money. The rooms need to be upgraded. |

The staff were very helpful and courteous. The room on the 9th floor was large. The basin in the bathroom was cracked, couple of lights were not working and the mini fridge also was not working. |

Situated in the heart of Barcelona it is a very good place to start your city tour. We had room 804 - which has a terrace on the roof - which was excellent. Watch out for the rate - when you bring children. When you have the rate for a 3 or 4 personer room - the you have to add 30 Euro pr. child pr. night if they are above 5 years old. This does not state very clear in the booking procedure - and is very anoying. |

At the heart of La Ramblas. Close to everything: shopping, supermarket, beaches, walking distance to Barceloneta and Placa de Catalunya and most of the tourist attractions. Buffet breakfast is good and adequate. Not enough air-conditioning. Elevators are small and slow. |

The location is great. Right in the middle of Las Ramblas. I had a great view on the boulevard as well as domes of Gothic quarter and Sagrada Familia on the far left. The rooms are really huge (as well as bathrooms). Looks more like a flat than a hotel room. There were all kind of stuff in the bathroom including toothpaste and toothbrushes and shaving lotions and shampoos and god only knows what else. The breakfast was quite good. The guy on reception couldn`t find my booking. He told me that the hotel was full and there`s no chance I booked the room for tonight. So I had to go to the internet cafe and find my booking number to give it to him. When I returned there was no one on reception so I had to wait good 15min to get the room at last. |

Great location Fridge not working. Being able to hear next door shower and taps being switched on. Damp on bedroom ceiling. We had to pay 1 euro for ice. This should of been free especially if the fridge was not working. |

Location is great if you are wanting to stay on Las Ramblas. Although the room I stayed in was only a single bedded room it was spacious enough. Furnishings are a little tired, however overall it's good value for money. Aircon wasn't working so well in room so a bit hot and sweaty, and especially in the public areas like lifts / lobby etc. |

Location was excellent, right in front of Ramblas, with subway 2 blocks away, close to many atractions. Rooms were dark, damp, smelly and made us sneeze from the moment we checked in. Beds were wobbly, mattresses were hard, pillows were the lowest quality possible. The staff at the hotel emptied our fridge before our check-out and our food and drinks "were put to the bin". Nobody took responsability and no apologies were given. |

the location of the hotel was great. didnt like the fact that breakfast was included and that we did not have the option to just book the room without the breakfast. the lift is extreemly old, noisy, and slow. in fact it was not functional on a particular day. most of the front desk officers were quite nice however the employee assigned to this position when we checked out was extreemly rude. i understand she had a lot of pressure and might have been a bit stressed out, but there's a way and a way to deal with customers ... especially upon check out. when we first got to the room, it stank of dirty feet / socks and we were basically disgusted. we had to open the window and let some fresh air come in. one last thing ... the hotel does not offer an iron to its customers on request. we were told that it is not done in spain. ive just visited madrid last april and they had one on request!!! anyways, ramblas hotel wanted to charge 3 euros per piece for the ironing. i had to buy a small iron myself instead. |

We were shocked as the price is far too high for the quality offered.I could even send you photo's I took of the view from our room.No airconditioning the whole place is worn out. for practically € 200 per night...this is unbelievable.A hotel like that should not exceed € 95, per night. The only good thing about the hotel is the location |

Centrally situated on the world-famous Las Ramblas, the hotel provides an ideal base for exploring and discovering all the fantastic attractions of modernist Barcelona. |
This hotel has an unbeatable location in a side street just 20 metres from Las Ramblas. The value-for-money Hotel Moderno includes free breakfast and free Wi-Fi. |
Set on the lively, cosmopolitan central boulevard of Las Ramblas, Royal Ramblas boasts practical and well-equipped rooms, ideal for a stay in this monumental city. |
This hotel is located in a square only 50 metres from Las Ramblas, in a lovely refurbished convent dating from 1720. The hotel is actually the oldest in the city and has been functioning since 1840. |
