Excellent location just of the Ramblas. 120pounds per room is great value for money, although breakfast would have been nice. Lobby seemed new and clean, so it was a bit of a surprise that the rooms themselves seemed old and the carpets a bit dusty. Hotel room carpets seemed needing some cleaning. Room was facing a wall (so beware when booking a room that is described as "in the quiet interior" of the hotel. Free wifi only available on the ground floor near reception. |

the convenience of being a minute away from the Ramblas, the fact that the car park was within the hotel and the friendly and helpful staff |

Very friendly staff, simply wonderful location: practically all interesting places are easily within reach of a convenient walk: harbour some 10 minutes, nearest metro some 4 minutes, bars and restaurants: immediately outside the hotels. Hotel lobby gives the impression that you have entered quite a fancy nicely renovated hotel. Unfortunately, all the money for the renovation was invested in the lobby; the rooms look rather poor compared to the lobby. Very thin walls between the room. Not caused by the hotel, but as a consequence of its location: Barcelona is not a quiet village and due to the small alleys all sound reflects like they are caused opposite your window. So, dont stay in your room, explore town! |

The location was the only plus side to this hotel The room was dirty, the staff were unhelpful, the beds were camp beds, which for a 4* hotel is completely unacceptable |

Arriving early in the morning and unable to check in until 2 they immediately took the luggage and suggested things for us until that time. The internet was terrible. Although I accessed my account several times it did not work. |

The hotel was in an excellent location - close to shopping, excellent restaurants near by and also close to many attractions in Barcelona. |

Staff were very friendly and able to speak English (unfortunately we speak little Spanish!). Breakfast was not explained - we waited a long time for tea/coffee but then realised that we needed to serve ourselves (first day). |

Very good location, near La Ramblas and the Metro. Room was very dark with very little natural or electric light. Rooms were noisy (walls very thin). |

The location is excellent. The staff were helpful at all times. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to be close to all the action at La Rambla without having to endure the associated noise. The term "Non-smoking room" is something the staff does not appear to understand. I specifically requested a non-smoking room but got a room that smelt strongly of cigarette smoke and even had an ash tray provided - an unusual accoutrement for a non-smoking room. I questioned the lingering odour of smoke and the presence of an ash tray in a "non- smoking room" and was assured it is a non-smoking room. Whatever!!!!! |

First time visit to Barcelona and was pleasantly pleased that the hotel was central to everything. The hotel is about 1/2 block from the Las Ramblas mall and shops. The hotel was clean and comfortable The smell of sewerage in the bathroom. Had to keep the bathroom door closed at all time -- if not, the sewerage smell would over power the bedroom. Other than the smell, the hotel would have been perfect. |

Locaton was good, just off Las Ramblas. Hotel had a pool even though very small was important for us with children. Rooms were a good size with a large bed and seperate sofa bed. Quiet at night with not too much street noise. Room that we had was very dark, required lights on even during the day. No balcony area to sit out. Bar area lacked atmosphere and was very quiet most of the time. We felt that food was a bit expensive. |

Really good beds. Quiet room. Spacious room. Location perfect. Nice relax-space on the roof. Nice and helpful staff. Rooms a bit oldfashion. Will soon need a facelift. Swimmingpool: No rules for swimmers. Nobody took a shower before using the pool.. Kids played, screamed, jumped and used large toys. To hot water. 10 EUR in deposit pr towel. Strange! No ashtrays at the roof. Smokers put out their cigarette at the floor. (removed every day by cleaner, but why not ashtrays?) |
