The most enjoyable part of our stay at Silken Ramblas, was checking out. The walls are paper thin, unless you intend being awake the entire stay, this hotel is useless for getting a good nights sleep. |

Everything was lovely. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The triple room was spacious and well furnished. Location could not have been better. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! |

Quiet location in the centre of the city, with good links to the transport systems. Friendly and helpful staff. Sadly the walls between the rooms are very thin, giving guests no privacy. |

Stylish and relaxing decor - a perfect contrast to the buzzing energy of Las Ramblas. A very serene hotel with excellent staff. I'm making a repeat reservation this week. |

Location; very nice and helpful staff Wi Fi in the hotel is only in the lobby. It nominally exists in the rooms as well, but the signal i so weak it's useless. Staff say guests always complain. I wonder why the management doesn't act - it wd be simple and cheap. As it is, the hotel lacks a must for any international 3-star or above. |

The hotel is very close to the center, the Ramplas and you can take the bus from the airport to plaza cataluna. Very convienient between metro plaza cataluna and liceu. Big entree with very welcomming staff. The hotel is so central that there a lot of oppertunities to eat out, also for breakfast. a 18 euro pp breakfast in the hotel seems way to expensive... To get access to the sauna, the staff needs to open the door and you have to warm it up for like 45 minutes and hope some one doesn't open the door of the sauna and leaves it open or closes the main entree door again. |

The location and the room size. The furntiure is old and starting to fall apart including the fixtures attached to the wall. The bed was uncomfortable (too hard) and the tv was not picking up a number of channels and some of the channels could only be viewed in black and white. |

Nice public areas, excellent location, very good breakfast on day of departure no water in the rooms. we were not informed about this and it was terrible. Hotel said it was the city. Better communication would help. |

Excellent location just of the Ramblas. 120pounds per room is great value for money, although breakfast would have been nice. Lobby seemed new and clean, so it was a bit of a surprise that the rooms themselves seemed old and the carpets a bit dusty. Hotel room carpets seemed needing some cleaning. Room was facing a wall (so beware when booking a room that is described as "in the quiet interior" of the hotel. Free wifi only available on the ground floor near reception. |

Very friendly staff, simply wonderful location: practically all interesting places are easily within reach of a convenient walk: harbour some 10 minutes, nearest metro some 4 minutes, bars and restaurants: immediately outside the hotels. Hotel lobby gives the impression that you have entered quite a fancy nicely renovated hotel. Unfortunately, all the money for the renovation was invested in the lobby; the rooms look rather poor compared to the lobby. Very thin walls between the room. Not caused by the hotel, but as a consequence of its location: Barcelona is not a quiet village and due to the small alleys all sound reflects like they are caused opposite your window. So, dont stay in your room, explore town! |

Arriving early in the morning and unable to check in until 2 they immediately took the luggage and suggested things for us until that time. The internet was terrible. Although I accessed my account several times it did not work. |

Staff were very friendly and able to speak English (unfortunately we speak little Spanish!). Breakfast was not explained - we waited a long time for tea/coffee but then realised that we needed to serve ourselves (first day). |
