The hotel was comfortable and welcoming and the location was perfect for what we wanted from our visit to Barcelona.

It's central location, yet quite, spacious rooms, friendly staff and security.

One thing! the hot water was sometimes not quite hot enough and the bath cubicle leaked, so Barcelona's precious water was spilling onto the floor!

It is close to the centre whilst not being on a main tourist thoroughfare; there is traffic along the street, but it's one-way and there's not much; good selection of restaurants, shops and sights within a short walk; staff were very nice and helpful; as much free bottled mineral water as you can drink in a fridge on each floor; room was a decent size; simply and well decorated; nice bathroom; oriental restaurant connected to it if you wanted to - breakfast served there if you booked it;

no room fridge if you wanted to store your own food; walls very thin so you hear everything from next door and the corridors; no toilet brush.

Perfect location in the Born area with nice shops, great nightlife and close good atmosphere. Friendly staff, simple and tasteful interior with all you need. Finally a hotel with great matrasses!

The rooms in the first floors facing the street can be very noisy in the morning, so if you prefer to sleep longer, get a room in the back or on a high floor (5th).

Good value hotel, perfectly situated in Born district with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Clean and modern rooms and good service at front desk.

Excellent frontdesk staff! Nice, trendy environment. The japanese- peruvian restaurant is just great: good food, trendy decoration, cool waiters, ... Location is excellent and close to subway. Very pleased about my stay in this hotel! Whenever I'll be in Barcelona, I now know where I will book my room!

My room was next to street and streetnoice (mostly people walking by and talking) was very loud! Public underground parking is very expensive!

We have stayed before in the summer. The offer for this time of year was irresistible and the location is very good for everything.

One small thing .No extra pillow in the cupboard and the one on the bed was very hard.

The staff was super helpful and friendly. The rooms were simple, but very comfortable, and the location could not be beat. I only hope this doesn't get to their heads and make them raise their prices ;)

we had to change rooms because the first one smelled really bad.

Chilled cava in our room on arrival (just as i requested) and a gorgeous corner room. It was my boyfriend's birthday, and I wanted it to be special for him. It absolutely was, and I appreciate the efforts the excellent staff made to help make it happen. Perfect location, king size bed (key for my 6'4 boyfriend), great restaurants and shopping near by, and all of the christmas markets. It was just wonderful.

Central location

This is a hostel not a hotel. It is on a very dangerous street where my colleague was robbed. The rooms smelt of leaking sewrage. Our people accessed our room using hotel cards on several occassions, we felt very unsafe here. All rooms where cramped with cheap chipboard furnishings. There was no fridge, no shampoos and worn down towels. We where charged twice for breakfast and they would not let us leave even when we where robbed without paying extra fees. There is no lobby or sitting room or bar or meeting room for guests. The pool on top floor is a dirty puddle. No coffee making or ordering facilities. This is a hostel, one star only, parading as hotel through glossy images, located on a dangerous street with 3 robberies a day !!
